"You're The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me" (Part 2)

Chapter 13

                                                                                   (Rose's POV)

  Today I am celebrating the fact that I am engaged to Matty. It is shocking for me to be engaged to Matty. The two of us have been through a lot the past year and I never thought that he would propose. He didn't seem the type to propose so soon. The guys were hesitant about what would happen between us. He means the world to me and we have been through so much together over this year. With us dating from the other side of the world, to me having my accident and miscarriage, to trying to have a baby again. And of course there is the fact that Matty's brother, Louis, is an asshole to me at times. Matty's brother is the one who put me in that accident and I don't know if I'll ever get over it. 

  I am lucky to have Matty Healy as my fiance even if it is sooner than I thought it would be. Compared to him I am young, I mean I am young. He means so much to me and I know that things will not be easy for us but we will work through whatever comes our way. "Hey beautiful." Matty says as he walks through our front door. He is home from his day at the studio. 

  I smile at him. "Hey handsome. How was your day at the studio? I know you guys are also preparing for tour." 

  He grabs a glass of water before joining me on the couch. "It was fine. Preparations for tour have been interesting. Speaking of the tour, we decided on our opening act." 

  "You did?" I ask, putting my legs in his lap. "Who?" I have been busy working on my debut album as well as other things. The album is almost done and is out in two months. The girls have their own things they've been doing to keep themselves busy. 

  "You. We decided that you should be the opening act for the tour. Jamie agrees with us about how talented you are. He wanted me to be the one to ask you if you'd do it. For the U.K tour and the U.S tour." He tells me. 

  I look at him in shock from finding this out. I didn't know it would be me and everything in me told me that it would be someone else. I just signed with Dirty Hit last year after my accident. My album isn't out for a bit longer. "You're serious? You guys want me to be the opening act?" I ask in complete shock. 

  "Yes George, Adam, Ross, and I want you to be that. To be on these tours with us. You are extremely talented and the world deserves to hear your music. Plus I wouldn't mind having you there with me." He says, drinking his water. I am guessing that he is saving his drinking for tonight's celebration. It is all of us there tonight, the girls, the guys, Jamie, and I. I am excited for a night out. 

  I cannot believe that he just told me that they want me on the tour with them. They are my friend band and of course this opportunity can change my life. Out of all the other bands on the label they chose me. I have no idea why but that doesn't change anything. "I wasn't expecting that to be honest. The answer is yes. Of course I will go on tour with my favorite band." 

  He kisses my cheek. "Great. We can tell them tonight at the dinner celebration. I know they have news of their own to share with us." He says. 

  I smile. "Yay. I might already know what that news is but yeah. Speaking of news, the doctor called me today."
