"You're The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me" (Part 2)

Chapter 15

                                                                                 (Amanda's POV)

   Today I am working at my job for a few hours before going to the studio to watch the lads work on their new album. Jamie is hesitant to let us in the studio to watch them work but Matty did something to let us in. I am excited for their new album to come out, the fans have been waiting for new music for over a year. I can't wait to hear what they have in store for us. 

  My coworker looks at me. "When did he put a ring on it?" She asks, noticing my ring. 

  "Two days ago on our one year. I love him with everything in me. I cannot wait to marry him." I tell my coworker who I have become close friends with. 

  Meg smiles at me. "You are so lucky that George Daniel is your fiance. I am jealous of course but happy for you." 

  "I am glad you're happy for me. Are you going to their London show?" I ask, putting things on shelves. I look at my ring for a moment. "I am lucky to be marrying a guy who treats me well." 

  "I am happy for you and George. Yes I am going to the London show. My girlfriend surprised me with tickets." Meg says with a grin on her face. 

  "Speaking of your girlfriend, I haven't met her yet." I state as I keep doing my job of stocking. 

  "No you haven't and I haven't met your fiance. How about we do a double date tonight?" Meg suggests as she greets a customer. The customer says hello before walking off. 

  "I'll have to ask George about that but after my lunch I will get back to you." I check the time to see that it is time for my lunch break. "Speaking of which it's my lunch time. I will talk when I get back." I say into my walkie that I am going on my lunch before going to the break room to grab my stuff. 

  I grab my stuff before getting in my car to drive home for my break. I like spending as much time with George as possible when I am away from work. We both get busy but still make time for each other which is important. I love him more than anything and I hope he realizes that. I know that no matter what comes our way that we will make it through. "Honey I'm home!" I call when I walk through the front door of our house. 

  George walks over to me. "Hey lovely. Home from work so soon?" He asks, kissing my cheek. 

  "No it is just my lunch break. How is your day going?" I ask, making my way to the kitchen to make myself lunch. 

  "Well I spent this morning at the studio editing Rose's album. I'll be at the studio this afternoon to finish the band's album." He tells me what his plans for today is. 

  "Would you possibly have time for a double date tonight with one of my work friends and her girlfriend?" I ask him as I finish making my food. 

  "I might. It depends on what time they are wanting it to be at." He answers, sitting down next to me.
