"You're The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me" (Part 2)

Chapter 7

                                                                                    (Rose's POV)

  I got an all clear from my doctor yesterday which means a lot to me. I know that it means a lot to my boyfriend too because he hasn't been getting laid which I know kind of bothers him. Matty seems a lot happier now that I am happier. He wants what is best for me which is amazing, even though sometimes it is not always what is best for me. I do love him but sometimes he was babying me a little too much. "You have something up your sleeve for today don't you?" I ask my boyfriend who is acting a little out of it today. 

  "If I do, I am not telling you shit." He says, kissing my cheek. 

  "I know you won't because you like surprising me. Speaking of which, when is this surprise supposed to be?" I ask my boyfriend. 

  "Soon I promise. As soon as George calls me that will be the signal." He tells me like I am supposed to know that. 

  "I think that it might be awhile before he calls you. I want to ask you what is going on but you won't tell me at all." I give him a look. I honestly don't know what he has in store for me today and he has been acting strange. I know he has stuff in store for the both of us because I am free to do whatever I want even though I still have to be somewhat careful. 

  "You'll find out what it is soon enough, trust me." He says to me. "I know it is hard waiting for me to show you what I have planned but it is worth the wait." 

  I kiss his cheek. I can tell that he wants me to be happy and spend time with him. I haven't seen him much lately due to him being at the studio a lot. I know that they are working on a new album. I am excited to hear the new album when it comes out even though I miss my boyfriend when he is there. "Thank you for trying to make this day special." I say to him. "I also start working on my album next week." 

  He grins at me. "I am so glad that you get to start that soon! I was hoping you would be but I didn't know what Jamie's schedule was looking like and things." 

  "You have been busy as well. I mean yeah Jamie is getting me set up but aside from that the music is mine. The problem I am currently having is finding other musicians to work on the album with me. I can't do it by myself, not completely." I explain to him the main problem with next week. 

  "I know that you will find some people. I would help but you specifically said that we cannot mix business with pleasure." He tells me. 

  "I know I did and that stays true. I think it would be a bad idea to work with each other like that. I don't want to make that clear. As much as I love your company, the both of us shouldn't work together like that." I say to him not knowing what he was just thinking. 

  "I know that we can't and I respect your decision when it comes to that. It is a bad idea but other people will be able to work with you, and who knows they may become close friends." He says as his phone rings. He picks up the phone. "Hey George is everything set up?" He asks.
