"You're The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me" (Part 2)

Chapter 22

                                                                                 (Matty's POV)

  Today the guys, Rose, and I are headed to the U.S for the tour. I am proud of Rose for choosing to come with us at least for the first leg of the tour. I'm a bit worried because it is a bit risky for her to be traveling but I hope it leads to an amazing experience for her. She deserves to have that before the baby comes. A little adventure never hurt anyone. I am worried about how I will be as a dad. I never thought about me being a dad until I met Rose and then things changed. I didn't want to settle down and get married until I met her. She has changed my life by being in it. I cannot believe that I am getting in a few months. "Don't stress about my health." Rose says as we get on the plane. 

  I look at her. "I'm allowed to worry about the health and safety of my fiance and our baby. Besides I'm also nervous about being a dad. Plus I want you to be okay." I state. 

  "I'm fine. Matty trust me when I say that you aren't the only one that is nervous about being a parent. You mean the world to me and so does this baby. I'm fine I promise you that. I hope that we'll be great parents but for now we have believe that we will be." Rose says as she sits in her seat. 

  I sit next to her. "I know I'm not the only one. I know we're both going through it. I know you're worried and I want you to be as safe as possible. I never thought I would ever be ready to be a dad let alone get married. Then you came along and things changed. My life changed." 

  She leans over to kiss me. "I love you and I'm lucky that I can be in your life as your future wife." She states. 

  "I love you too and I'm lucky to have you in my life as my wife to be. I'm excited for our future together as husband and wife. We're already starting a beautiful family." I tell her as I relax into my seat to get comfortable for the flight ahead. I hate long flights but it is part of being in a band which I don't mind. I love being able to see my fans from everywhere around the world. It is important to me for us to have that connection with our fans. We wouldn't be doing what we love for a living if it wasn't for them. We owe a lot to our fans for their support. I mean I'm marrying a fan of the band. 

  "Do you mind if I listen to music on the flight? It's a good distraction for the flight." She asks me. 

  I nod. "That's fine love. As long as it helps you relax than yes. Besides on long flights like these having a distraction like that is good." I state. 

  "I'm sure it is. This is only my third time flying back and forth. I am lucky to have you in my life. I'm turning on music. It should help me relax and get some rest." She says, kissing my cheek before putting on her headphones. 

  My mind is all over the place while on the flight. There are so many different thoughts occurring in my head. Like how I am absolutely terrified to be a father and to get married. I have never thought about settling down until I met Rose. Does it still terrify me? Yes it does. But there is nothing I want more than to spend the rest of my life with her. I know she wants to spend the rest of her life with me. There isn't anyone else I want by my side for the rest of my life. She means the world to me and I to her. She is the person who has been supporting me since we stated dating. I have my doubts about being a dad and if I'm ready but I know that with Rose by my side we can handle it. We'll be going through being parents together. We are starting a family and I'm ready for that. Even though neither of us knows what to expect.
