                                                                                 (George's POV)

I am nervous about today. We are headed to a very special place, Amanda and I are. I am nervous because it is our anniversary and I have big plans for us. Amanda is such a special human being that I am lucky to call my girlfriend. I am so lucky to have her in my life. We met last year and it changed both of our lives. She never would have moved here if we didn't date. I never expected for us to come this far and we have. I am nervous because I am planning on asking for her hand in marriage. I don't know whether she will say yes or not but I am hoping that she will. I will be crushed if she doesn't say yes.

"You are nervous as fuck." Amanda states as we head out of our house. "Something is up. I am nervous as well."

"It is our anniversary, of course I'm nervous. Is it that obvious?" I ask my girlfriend as I drive us off to our destination. She doesn't know what I have in store for us. I wrote a song for her which the guys are going to help me play for her. As talented as I am, I didn't want to do this on my own. It's something special for her which is what I am going for.

"Yes I am aware of that. How come the guys are meeting us there?" She asks me, playing with her hair which I notice is something she does when she is nervous.

"Who told you that?" I ask because I haven't hinted at anything that is happening tonight. I want it to be a surprise. I know Matty isn't always the best at keeping secrets though. Maybe he said something to her.

"Matty might have said something about them being there for part of our anniversary. Though I prefer for us to celebrate this day just the two of us." She says, turning on the radio.

"I prefer that too. It won't be for very long I promise. You mean the world to me, Amanda." I say as I focus on driving. I love London and I always have well at least I have since the band took off. I am with the love of my life. Amanda and I have made the decision to enjoy every day and moment that we are together. When we met I knew that she was the one for me. Yes that is cliche but it's true. We have something special.

"I never thought that the day would come where we would be celebrating a year of being a couple." She says back, singing along to the radio. I am so lucky to have her in my life. I don't know where I would be without her. She means so much to me. Amanda is such a lovely and gorgeous person inside and out.

"I knew we would make it a year. No never mind I know that we'll make it a lifetime." I say as I focus on the drive to the destination. I have a lot of things planned tonight for her. I want tonight to be as special and perfect as it can be. She means the world to me and I am so excited to see what our future holds.

"You seem so on edge. Are you sure that you are okay?" She asks as we arrive at the place that I chose for this night. It is the place where we had our second date. We have a lot of things that we talked about. I cannot wait to ask for her hand. I asked her dad's permission before buying the ring to be on the gentleman side of things.

"I am perfectly fine. It is a lovely night and I am with my gorgeous girlfriend. On our one year anniversary. You mean so much to me, Amanda." I park the car before turning the engine off and getting out of the car. I come over to her side and open the door for her, holding out my hand.
