"You're The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me" (Part 2)

Chapter 21

                                                                                 (Amanda's POV)

      I look at the ring on my finger. I still cannot believe that George proposed to me. It feels so surreal and like I'm in a dream. He means the world to me and for him to feel the same way is incredible. There are still things we learning about each other. I know the person who I am and who I want to be with. I'm so in love with him and words can't describe how strongly I feel about him. "You look amazing!" I tell my fiance, who is getting dressed up for a dinner party with the guys, Jaime, and other members of the Dirty Hit family. The guys are allowed plus ones so I'm going as well as George's date. I'm wearing a dress that he got me a little bit ago for special occasions. 

  "As do you. Are you excited to finally meet Bea, Heather, and others?" He asks me. 

  I nod. "Of course I am. I've been wanting to meet Heather for a while and Bea. I have heard that Bea is an absolute sweetheart." I state, finishing getting ready. 

   "You are stunning without it." George tells me as he grabs his wallet, phone, and keys. 

  "Thank you babe. Shall we get going to this dinner?" I ask, getting out of my seat and grabbing my purse and phone. 

  He nods. "Yes we should. It is an annual thing we do before bands go on tour to North America. It's a tradition we started in 2013 and have been doing for the past nine years." He explains. 

  "That sounds like a lovely tradition. You guys seem to have a lot of those." I say as I get in the car. "Have you heard from Rose at all? I'm worried about her." Rose hasn't been in touch much since they found out that she is going to have a baby with Matty. The plans for her to tour may have changed but no one really knows what's going on. 

  George smiles. "Yeah it is. And yes we have a lot of traditions. The band and the label means a lot to us which is why we do." He states. "I haven't heard from Rose but I've heard from Matty. Rose is still deciding on what she wants to do. I mean she is allowed to travel for a little while. We'll find out tonight apparently." He states. 

  We head out to Jaime's place for the dinner. I am excited to meet the rest of the Dirty Hit gang. They are George's chosen family and I hope they become mine too. I mean I have already heard amazing things about them and I'm sure they've heard amazing things about me. "I am excited about meeting them." I state, as I turn on the radio. 

  "I am so glad you're excited about this. I know that you have been wanting to meet them for a while." He says. 

  About five minutes later we arrive at Jaime's house where there are several cars parked in the driveway. He circles to find a spot before parking and turning off the engine. We get out of the car and walk up the driveway to knock on the door. We wait for a moment for someone to answer the door. Jaime answers the door. He's dressed up in a suit and his hair is pulled back. He definitely looks like a band manager right now. "Come on in." Jaime states. 

  George and I go inside to see everyone is gathered around the table already. George pulls out my chair for me and then sits down. "It is nice to see everyone before we leave." He says.
