"You're The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me" (Part 2)

Chapter 8

                                                                                 (Destiny's POV) 

   I have been back for a day and I am exhausted from the trip. I don't go back to work until tomorrow given how I want today to do some resting. I want to spend some time doing my own thing before I go back to work tomorrow. I don't know what Adam and the lads are up to right now. I haven't talked to them at all today except to tell him that I got home safe. But other than that I haven't said much to him. I know that they are more than likely busy working on their album. I cannot wait to hear it when it comes out. I have no idea what Adam wants to do to celebrate our four months but I am sure that he has something in mind. 

  'I do have something in mind for today.' I read the text that Adam just sent me. I know that he is attempting to try and make me feel better about being back home. I miss him like crazy and I am sure that he knows that. 

  I text him back: What would that be? I want to celebrate somehow. I just don't know how. 

  He texts back: We are going to videocall and maybe have some drinks at the same time. You mean a lot to me Destiny. 

  I text back: That is a good idea. Just let me know when you are ready to do so. 

  He texts back: Yeah I know that. I will let you know. I should be ready in an hour. 

  I smile as I text him back: Yeah an hour should be enough time. Just tell me when you are ready. Maybe watch a movie as well. 

  He texts: Yeah a movie would be a great thing to do as well. I will text you before I call. For now I have to get back to it. 

  I text: Yeah get back to it. I will talk to you soon. I love you. :> 

  I get a text back: I love you too :> 

  I don't text him back as I will be talking to him again soon. I never thought that the two of us would date but we are. The day we met I thought it was just luck. A lucky thing for the both of us. I didn't know that it would escalate to us dating. Adam means a lot to me. Him and I are a couple which I only thought would happen in my dreams. We have been a couple for four months now which has felt amazing. The love we have for each other has grown a lot since the day we met. I mean it felt impossible for us to be something other than a fan and band member. But it did grow in an incredible way. 

  I grab my gaming equipment to start playing while I wait for Adam to call me. I love playing games and I have started to make money out of it as well. A hobby that enjoy doing while I'm not working. It is a fun thing for me to do. I have been playing games for a long time and to have it as a hobby helps a lot. It keeps my mind distracted for a while. 

  I turn on my computer to get started on my twitch account. I put on my headphones to start streaming the games that I am playing. I love what I do when it comes to streaming which makes sense. It is a part of me. I work on the twitch stream while I wait for my boyfriend to text me back. I am lucky to have him in my life even if we are halfway around the world from each other. Being in a long distance relationship is crazy and hard but it is well worth it. Being away from him is difficult but when we see each other in person again it will be more meaningful.
