"At least six more inches is expected to fall as the night progresses."

With a sigh you turned off the news and cuddled under the blanket you had brought with you to the den. You had made plans earlier in the week to go out, but being locked inside with Phil till the snow melted wasn't something you were going to complain about. More time with him was always a plus in your book.

Phil strolled into the room holding a bowl of popcorn and a movie. "At least the power hasn't gone out. We can catch up on everything we've been wanting to see." Popping the movie into the player, Phil cuddled under the blankets with you and prepared to enjoy the film. 10 minutes later the lights began to flicker and you were suddenly left in the dark.

You sat in silence for a few seconds before Phil's voice cut through the dark. "And there goes the movie idea. I was really looking forward to finishing that one too." You felt the cushions move under you as he stood up. "I'll get the fireplace going"

You were thinking of ways to make the night a bit more entertaining when you suddenly got an idea. Leaving Phil to work on the fire you made your way into the kitchen to grab some supplies.

Phil was just tossing the last log into the fire when (y/n) returned carrying a bag of marshmallows , some chocolate bars, and a sleeve of graham crackers.

"We always have s'mores and campfire stories!" She had a childlike grin on her face and was already preparing her marshmallows for toasting. Grinning along with her Phil picked up the marshmallows. Making s'mores and swapping stories with (y/n) was definitely better than a movie.
