When He Catches You Staring/Admiring: The first time he caught you staring at him he wanted to smile. You didn't think he noticed and every time he glanced your way you pretended as if you hadn't even noticed he was there. He thought it was cute the way you acted shy until he looked away.
When You Try To Flirt: The first time you started flirting with him was a little awkward. He knew you were trying not to be so obvious and he wanted to tell you that you didn't have to try so hard to get his attention, but he secretly enjoyed the attention.
When You Give Him A Long Hug/Snuggle: The first time you hugged him it was short and friendly, so he wasn't expecting it when you gave him a hug that lasted for almost a minute. He was a little surprised, but honestly, he loved it. He needed a hug like that and coming from you made it even more special.
Snuggle: It was cold out and you were just trying to get warm, so you didn't really think much of it when you leaned against him. Phil thought you were trying to snuggle and he happily obliged. It wasn't until he wrapped his arm around you, pulled you closer, and saw the surprised look on your face that he realized what you were really doing, but by then you had already accepted the idea of snuggling.
When You Say "I Love You": The first time you said "I love you" he instantly felt lighter and happier. He hadn't really known how you felt about him. He knew you liked him and enjoyed getting together, but he wasn't sure how you really felt until then.
