Special Moments 3: Finding Out You Are Expecting

Different ways you might tell him.

During A Meeting: You had just found out you were expecting and you wanted to tell Phil. Calling his office you were informed by an assistant that he was in a meeting and could not take any calls. You thought about waiting, but you really wanted him to know, so you went to the store and found a "congratulations on your new baby" card. After purchasing it you drove to the office where you gave the card to one of his coworkers, telling them that it was a very important message and it needed to be delivered right away. When Phil was handed the envelope he opened it and nearly fell out of his seat in surprise. Dropping the card on the table he rushed out to meet you. One of his other coworkers in the meeting picked up the card and read the news and soon they all came out to congratulate you.

At Home: Phil had just gotten home from work and went to put his shoes and jacket in the closet. He opened the door and was hanging his jacket up when he noticed a tiny little jacket hanging next to where he was about to put his. He was a little confused and took the little hanger off the rack, staring at the jacket, trying to figure out who he knew that might be that small. Still wondering he put his shoes on the floor and was about to close the door when he noticed a tiny little pair of shoes next to his. More confused than he was before, he picked up the shoes and pushed the door shut with his foot as he turned around. "Honey?" He found you standing a few feet behind him, leaning in the doorway to the next room over. "Where did these come from?" He held up the items, looking at them again, and then looked at you. When he saw your glowing smile he knew right away what you were going to tell him.
