Accidentally Injured By Phil: You were outside in the yard when he pulled into the driveway, home from work. He didn't see you when you waved to him so you walked over to greet him. He was reaching for something in the backseat so his back was turned to you when you reached the car. You were about to knock on the window when you noticed a piece of paper littering the driveway. Not wanting it to blow around in the wind you crouched down to pick it up. Right at that moment Phil opened the door, hitting you right in the head. Dazed, you fell back away from the car enough for the door to open and Phil jumped out and dropped down beside you.
"Honey, are you alright?" Holding a hand on your head you felt a few tears sting your eyes. That door had really hit you hard, but you knew Phil didn't mean it and that he would have waited if he had seen you. He held on to your arm and helped you to stand up. "I'm sorry honey, I didn't see you."
Sniffling a bit you held back the tears, "I'm alright."
Phil helped you into the house and to a chair. After making sure you were comfortable he apologized again. He felt bad about what happened and made sure to check next time before opening the car door.
