On your one year anniversary Phil surprised you with a hot air balloon ride. The tours took place over fields and fields of flowers, a beautiful sight that had to be seen. You were taking photos when you heard Phil call your name. Looking over your shoulder you were shocked and surprised to find him holding what appeared to be a little ring box. Because of the size of the basket he couldn't kneel, but that didn't change what was happening.
"Y/N, this last year with you has been the most amazing time of my life. Every moment spent with you has brought me joy and happiness."
Tears began to form in your eyes and you were rendered speechless.
"You may not feel the same way, and should that be the case, I will give you the time or space that you need. I have everything to lose but I'm willing to put it all on the line because I know that you are the one for me." Pausing in his speech he opened the box, sunlight catching the jewel, sparkling and shining, it was the most beautiful and perfect ring you had ever seen.
"Will you marry me?"
You had certainly not expected this when Phil had invited you out this morning. Tears streaming down your face, happiness bursting inside you, you managed to choke out a yes.
