Everyday smile: He loves the way you smile at him when he walks into the room. Like he's the only one there and the only one you would ever wear a smile for.
"Special smile": Although you smile at everyone you met it seems as if you save a special smile that you save just for him. While others see the one you wear on your lips, he sees the one you wear with your entire being. He likes to call it your "special smile" because not only does it grace your lips, but it seems to light the up the entire room and your eyes sparkle in a special way that only he can see.
When he comes home: This smile is far different from the others. When Phil comes home the first thing he sees is what he calls your "Welcome home" smile. You never have to tell him how much you missed him because the way you smile says it all.
When he's talking about something you don't understand: Sometimes when he's trying to tell you about what happened during his day you smile this little smile that clearly says "I have no idea what you're saying but I'm smiling and pretending to be interested." Phil thinks this smile is really cute and sometimes tells you things he know you won't understand because he finds it amusing.
When he compliments you: Phil will often to tell you how much he loves you or how beautiful you look and each time the result is different. Sometimes you blush and smile and agree with him, while other times when he tells you how special you are to him, you respond with a almost shocked expression. You look at him as if you can't believe he really loves you and then when you smile there is so much love behind it that he wants to say it all again just to replay your reactions.
