Chapter 32: The Results and The Practice

~Third Saturday of December~

The Vance siblings were in the station of Hogwarts Express because Harley was going home to the Vance Household while Lesley remained at school. Harley wore a red winter coat with brown boots on his feet, along with his Hufflepuff scarf and hat. His sister wore a brown winter coat and boots. She had a Gryffindor scarf wrapped around her and a hat of her house. (In other words, Lesley's winter outfit is Hermione's POA winter outfit). They stood in front of a train that would leave in three minutes. Harley's things were now beside him along with his pet owl Peppy who's now in the cage.

"I will miss you sis. I hope you're enjoying the Noel Wizarding Ball on Christmas Day while I’m with mom and dad." Harley said as he hugged his sister.

"I will Harley. Don't worry about me. I'm fine." Lesley dictated with a smile on her face.

"By the way sis, I am not so sure what I thought last time." He added.

"What is it?" His sister became curious about his words. "What do you mean my brother?"

"About your relationship with Paxley. I know you feel happy about it but we overheard that Gusion has an arranged marriage with a Baroque Witch. As many times it mentioned." He replied with concern.

"Oh yeah right." Lesley said. "And you have a condition with Paxley, right?"

"Yeah. I have a concern about your relationship with Paxley. There's a possibility that you will become the victim in this situation if Baroque finds it and their fixed marriage is still going on." Harley dictated. "Don't worry. I hope there's a change, that's all."

"The train will leave in one minute for the first to third years who are going home for Christmas." The conductor announced.

Harley bid his sister goodbye, fixed his stuff, and went inside the train. Peppy hooted as his owner finally sat on the train's chair. The train slowly moved along the trail, whistling in departure. Lesley waved at Harley, who sat by the window. Harley smiled back. She kept waving until the train was no longer seen.

As she walked back to Hogwarts, snowflakes drifted in the air and fell to the ground. Her owl, Kalie, flew down and went to her owner. She reached out her left arm and Kalie immediately perched on it. Lesley told her pet that she was walking back to Hogwarts then a few minutes later, Kalie flew towards the castle as Lesley was now in there with some snowflakes falling.

~The Present Day~

Today is the day when the test results will be distributed to the fifth years; it is also the first day of their practice in the Noel Wizarding Ball. All fifth to seventh year students were wearing their uniforms, minus the robe, prior to Professor Alice’ reminder the night before. Lesley, Granger and Lunox went downstairs and they saw a bunch of students chattering at the notice board that was located at the Entrance Hall. They paved their way through the crowd. There were some students who pointed at the notice board about the top 5 students who achieved the Ordinary Wizarding Levels Examination. Granger widened his eyes and he tapped Lesley's left shoulder.

"Lesley, you're included!" Granger exclaimed.

"What do you mean?" Lesley asked before she looked at the notice board. Granger pointed with his right pointer.

Lesley was surprised by what she saw at the notice board.
