Chapter 20: The History of Magic Class

"Uh.. Lesley, are you okay?" Granger asked, tapping Lesley's shoulder.

"W-wait, huh?!?" Lesley jumped. She didn't realize she was lost in thought since Granger and her went inside the History of Magic class. Their teacher Professor Pharsa was not there yet but Gusion Paxley was there too, who sat on the right side of Lesley and Ling Finch, his seatmate. Lesley and Granger sat in the middle. 

"Y-yeah I'm okay. Why?" Lesley continued.

"You're thinking so deeply. Is there something bothering you?" Granger asked.

"Uhh no. Not really. I was thinking about what Professor Pharsa will be teaching us today, in History of Magic." she lied.

The real reason why Lesley seemed bothered because she remembered what happened last night in the Astronomy Tower with Gusion. Luckily, they went back to their dorms immediately before anyone could see them. She didn't forget about Gusion's confession and his family. The moment when Gusion said 'I love you' to her was still stuck in her head and it kept repeating over and over and over again.

“B-because... I love you!”

“B-because... I love you!”

After that, something came to her mind. She remembered Gusion's words from last night.

“You're like the stars...”

It surfaced on her mind that made her feel disturbed. Then she closed her eyes and placed her hands on her head.

"MAKE IT STOP!!" Lesley yelled in the classroom and slammed her fists against her table making everyone look at her. Granger looked at her, feeling worried. On the other hand, Guinevere was silently reading her book of History of Magic and got irritated when Lesley screamed. She rolled her eyes and continued reading.

"Lesley, why are you yelling ?" Granger whispered.

"Oh sorry, I just felt overwhelmed." Lesley lied again.

"You have to relax your mind, Les." Lunox said, who suddenly appeared behind them and sat beside Moskov Wildsand. Lesley and Granger turned their heads and looked at her. Granger was still confused how Lunox got there. Moskov was also confused with his seatmate. 

"How did you get in here?" Granger asked, both shocked and confused.

"Oh, that's not important." Lunox said, immediately hiding her triple gold circle design necklace with an hourglass in the middle inside of her uniform. Lesley had no idea what was going on with Lunox but she just brushed it off then grabbed her bag, took her homework and placed it on her table.

"I hope you didn't forget to bring your homework, Granger." Lesley informed.

Then, Professor Pharsa entered the room. She was walking towards her table with a book she was holding then she placed it over the table's surface. Pharsa looked at her students, made everyone quiet and focused on her

"Good day, Students." Pharsa greeted. "Have you finished the homework that I have given you? Today is the submission."

Everyone remained silent then they grabbed their bags and took their own parchment where the summarization was written. Pharsa walked towards them and looked at each students, table by table. Seemed like everyone did their own homework except..

"Mr. Finch!" Pharsa called Ling at his table with a strict voice. Ling looked at her, feeling nervous. "Where's your homework?"

"P-professor.." Ling said softy, put down his bag then Gusion looked at him, holding his homework. "I forgot to do my homework.."
