When the devastating scenario happened a day ago, Madam Rafaela told Guinevere that Gusion must stay again in the Hospital Wing until he is healthy. She checked his condition again when he laid off in the bed, she noticed on the thermometer that his body temperature increased from his normal temperature to 104.5 degrees Fahrenheit. It is the temperature of an influenza virus. Guinevere felt so much anxiety about him and she asked Rafaela what is the cause why his fever returned and if there is another cure that is better than the Healing Potion she brewed. At that time, Madam Rafaela had a hard time answering that but she told Guinevere that she would search about his condition and a better cure for his sickness from the books. Guinevere hoped that Rafaela wouldn't inform this situation to the family, even though Rafaela wanted to inform the Paxleys so he would be sent to St. Mungo's Hospital to investigate him.

In the present day, Gusion's returned fever got worse. He was mumbling right now in agony while lying in the hospital bed. Madam Rafaela checked his temperature again and it was still the same as yesterday. She sighed and caressed his head to ease him from pain. Gusion's uniform was changed into white pajamas last night because he felt more comfortable in that. He was awake but couldn't open his eyes because he felt weak today.

"G-guin..." He mumbled his mi amor's name. "W-where a-are y-you..."

"She will be here soon, don't worry," Rafaela reassured him. "For right now, you deserve a rest."

"B-but I need h-her..." Gusion mumbled once more. "I-I'm in pain..."

"Shhhh... You'll be alright. I'm going to research soon about your condition and a better cure."

Gusion nodded gently and he decided to fall asleep. Rafaela let him so he would feel at ease in his sickness. When he fell asleep, Rafaela suddenly became worried about what to do right now. She observed yesterday when Gusion stayed again here that his sickness is disparate compared to the normal sickness of the students. She wanted to continue her decision by searching from the books later on. Suddenly, someone came in through the Hospital Wing. It was the two witches who were always with Gusion.

"Hello, Madam Rafaela. How's Gusion today?" His fianceé, Guinevere Baroque asked.

"Well, his condition is still the same," She answered desperately, looking at Gusion sleeping. "I want to inform you two that his sickness is way different from the normal sickness."

"What do you mean different?" His female friend, Hanabi Scarlet suddenly asked.

"I cannot explain it in words..." The matron sighed. "But based on my observation this morning, his sickness is very different and bizarre. I think if I suggest informing his family about this so he will bring him to St. Mungo's Hospital if I didn't get the answer to my research-"

"No, please don't," Guinevere cut her off as she faced her left palm in front of Rafaela. "I don't want them to get worried about him. I want to help you with your research and find the cure for this so Gusion will get well soon easily. Plus I brought my book of spells in my bag just in case the cure is in the casting form."

Guinevere showed her book in her bag but she didn't take it out. The matron nodded in agreement that she would get help from her.

"Well sure," She smiled genuinely.

Suddenly, Gusion began to groan in distress and breathing heavily. The three witches briskly came closer to him and tried to comfort him. Guinevere looked at him with a miserable face as she caressed his right cheek with her left hand.

"Darling, do you feel something?" She asked.

"Mi a-amor... I-I feel s-so much p-pain..." Gusion muffled as he caressed her cheek. "My nerves began to t-ting so bad..."
