Chapter 36: She's Dating my Fiancé

It was the best night they ever had for them! Gusion and Lesley both raised their arms and gave a bow for them as everyone in the Great Hall gave applause. Gusion's gang whistled to them in appreciation, which made Gusion smile a lot and he looked at Lesley. Professor Alice smiled and applauded louder than anyone else to them, even though it was not included in the rehearsal. Granger and Lunox also gave applause to Lesley. Lesley smiled at them as she waved her hand.

"Nice featuring moves, Mr. Paxley and Ms. Vance. So surprisingly good", the headmistress said proudly. "The second batch will now turn to dance."

After Alice said that the dancers who joined the dance earlier set aside the dance floor. Suddenly, a brownish-white owl holding a letter with its claw came from the entrance door and flew across the Great Hall. Everyone gasped when the owl flew above them since its wing spread wider. The owl flew lower in front of Gusion and dropped a red envelope in his hand. Gusion and Lesley both feel unnerved since they knew what was that red envelope with a red ribbon on it. However, everyone in the Great Hall was wondering what was that. The brownish-white owl flew again and left for the door. The second batch was now preparing to dance but the dance floor was occupied by the Dangerous Seekers.

"Oh no, I know what this is," Gusion said with a fussing voice as he handled the red envelope.

"It's a howler, Gusion," Lesley informed as she held his right arm with her left hand. "Better open it right now or else it becomes worse. My brother Harley had that during his first year and he didn't open it immediately."

Gusion took a deep breath and gently opened his howler and he finally saw the message. It was from his father! The howler unexpectedly floats in front of Gusion and the envelope formed into the mouth shape. 

The anger howling voice of his father finally heard...

  GUINEVERE TOLD ME THAT YOU ARE DATING  A FILTHY MUDBLOOD AND YOU ALSO VIOLATED THE BLOOD PURITY RULE AND THE FIXED MARRIAGE PLAN WITH HER!  WHAT KIND OF A WIZARD ARE YOU?  I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH YOU, SON! YOU ARE A DISGRACE FROM US BOTH PAXLEY AND BAROQUE FAMILY. IF WE MET IN PERSON, I WILL NOT HESITATE TO IMMEDIATELY BREAK OFF YOUR WAND IN FRONT OF YOUR BROTHERS AND YOUR MOTHER FOR BEING A BLOOD TRAITOR OF OUR FAMILY! YOU ARE STILL MARRYING  A BAROQUE NO MATTER WHAT. A DEAL IS A DEAL.

After the howler ended, it blew in raspberry and tore into pieces, like a piece of paper. everyone murmured and whispered to each other in confusion. Gusion's heartbeat went faster than Lesley and they looked at each other's eyes. Both of them had no idea how Guinevere knew their date and surprisingly, how she told this to Gusion's father. Their faces were covered with a worried expression.

"How did she know?!?" Gusion exclaimed. Looks like the ball was turning into a disaster

Someone came in front of them by walking in a sassy way.

"Hello, Gusion",  it was Chou's partner Charlotte Ixora said with a desirable face. 

"Charlotte, how did you know Paxley?" Chou asked since he followed her when she went closed to them.

"Charlotte Ixora does not exist Yagami." She said to him then she unmasked her face in front of the couples and everyone. The people in the Great Hall were shocked.

Charlotte Ixora is Guinevere Baroque.

"How's your date with the filthy Mudblood also known as the top two in O.W.Ls, my fiancé? Did you two have fun?" Guinevere proceeded to ask Gusion with a hostile sarcastic voice. 

"I-I thought you-you're not going!" He exclaimed in fear as he tried to defend Lesley.

"And you believed it." She said in a severe voice. "Well, I lied to you that I am not going to the Noel Wizarding Ball so I can observe you properly. I told you that you can dance anyone except Muggle-borns and you're not following. It is confirmed that you're violating our marriage because of That. Filthy. Mudblood." She harshly pointed Lesley with her right pointer.
