"You did it!" Zayn exclaimed, picking me up and spinning me around.

"Yeah I did.. Thank you," I whispered, as I looked into his eyes.

"Your so brave," he mumbled, leaning in.

My breath hitched, does my ex bully like me?

But before I could answer anything, I felt myself leaning in as well.

EMILY'S P.O.V:

"Zayn, we shouldn't" I quickly interrupted, putting a finger to his lips.

"Oh, yeah right, I didn't mean to" He mumbled, scratching the back of his neck, "Well, i'm gonna go.."

"You can't, you have no way of getting home?"

"I'll find a way" he shrugged.

"Zayn, please don't make things awkward between us.." I sighed.

"I'm not, you are" He pouted.

"Stop acting like a child, is this just because I didn't kiss you?"

"No, I don't even like you" he snapped,

"Okay, then lets just act like nothing happened,"

"Nothing did happen?"

"That's the spirit" I winked.

"You two. We're going home, now" Mum sniffed, as she hopped into the car.

"She's upset?" Zayn whispered, referring to my mum.

"Her step-son is dead Zayn, who wouldn't be upset.." I said softly, as I stumbled, into the back seat, with Zayn beside me.

***AT HOME***

"Well you should, get going" I shrugged,

"Yeah hah, school tommorrow" Zayn groaned, "I'll see you then?"

"Yep.. but what about Harry, Louis, Liam and Niall?" I shivered.

"Don't worry about Niall, and I'll protect you!" Zayn exclaimed.

"Thank you, Zayn, for everything, without you I don't know what would of happened at the funeral"

"It's no trouble, infact, I had a blast, spending time with you" Zayn smiled.

"Goodbye, I'll see you tommorrow" I laughed, kissing his cheek.

He grinned, and walked off.
