Chapter 49 (Wedding is Off)

We arrived at our destination
The same diner Mrs Jane brought me.
The first time we had dinner together alone
just the 2 of us .
I took in a deep breath and letting out with a sigh.
"Memories.."
Mrs Jane appeared behind me and took my hand heading to the Table at the corner of the restaurant.
We sat down and the waitress came handing us both each a menu.
"You remember? This is where we held our first date"
She smiled while looking at the menu.
Date- 😳
It was a date?
I thought it was just.. a normal dinner night.
"I-  yeah ,it was one of the best nights"
I smiled and held her hand squeezing it and letting go.
We both ordered our food and waited for it to arrived.

I noticed Mrs Jane kept on touching her neck . Like something was bothering her.
" Uh are you okay Mrs Jane? Whats wrong with your neck?"
I held my hand out trying to see whats wrong with her neck.

She licked my finger. 😳
My face went red.
"HEYYY WHAT WAS THATT FOR"
I Said while looking around making sure no one saw that.
Mrs Jane giggled leading her to laugh pretty loud.
I covered my red face with my hand trying not to show it.
"Your so cute when you're embarrassed Hahaha ."
Shiet. She was messing around.

Our food arrived and we both enjoyed our breakfast.
I'd excuse myself to the toilet to fix my face after all that embarrassment.
Before that i went to the counter to pay for the meal. Without letting mrs jane know, she wouldn't let me pay cause she wanted me to save money for myself.
I giggled after paying.
"Idiot Mrs Jane "
I looked at Mrs Jane from afar as i smile.
I head to the washroom fixing my hair and splashing my face with water .

(Incoming call from Yin)
Me : yo whats up?
Yin : hey love , are you free tonight?
Me : why is there something up?
Yin : well since today is the last day before taking our results tomorrow monday. We thought maybe celebrating at Chels's house.
Me: ahhh what time?
Yin : idk 6? Who gives af tho 🤣 just bring a bottle of wine and whatever.
Me : can Mrs J-
Yin: ofcourse she can come. We obviously knew you were going to say that.
Me: hahaha sorry.
Yin : alright then see you later. Ciao
Me: bye.

I hung up and head out the washroom . Seeing Mrs Jane already outside leaning at her car. She saw me from outside smirking.
I grinned at her and head out aswell.
She went in and started the car
As when i was walking up to the car i recieved a new notification.

*Bzz bzz*
(incoming call from Dad)

Pft asshole.
I finally went in the car.
And there she goes with another sudden attack.
She gave me a surprise kiss leaving me speechless again.
"Thats is for paying the meal when i told u not to"
She laughed and we drove off.
"Can- can u stop doing thattt"
I said while covering my self again.
"Hahaha sorry . Teasing you is probably a normal thing i would do for now"
Tsk. Now i gotta be more cautious.
But at the same time i want it to happen more.
I placed my hands on her thigh throughout the car ride back to her home.

Come to think of it.
I'll be living with Mrs Jane from now on.
Im not going back to that house again.
Hell not when the backstabbing bij and the hoe living under the same roof.
I closed my eyes while my heart beats faster than usual.
"Say , Chels is helding a small gathering party at her house celebrating our last day before we get our result tomorrow"
She turned on her radio playing Mariah Carey songs.
"Is that so? Tomorrow is monday already? Dangg times fly by fast yes?"
She looked at me and smile.
I looked at her with my jaw slightly open.
I-
"I'll- promise to make you proud"
I placed my hands on my chest.
She smiled and laughed
"Hahahaa What are u talking about Eliza. you've always made me proud"
She gave me peck on the cheek.
"However if you really do make me proud lets say all A+ on your results , I'll consider giving you something irresistible" 😏
She looked at me whil smirking.

I gulped and avoid eye contact on her.

I held her hand while kissing it

We arrived home and proceeded to do our own thing.
Mrs Jane took a nap at the couch.
Its like 11 am right now. Ah she must be exhausted.
I head to the backyard cracking open a new bottle of wine pouring into the glass while enjoying view of her garden full of flowers.

(Mrs Jane POV)
I took a short nap cause i was abit beat up . I didnt get enough sleep last night after Eliza came.
Im glad shes doing fine. I was getting pretty worried about her.

However i wonder what eric and that slut is doing right now. Pfft why would i care .

I shud change his contact name ._.

Me: what?
Eric: where is eliza.
Me: shes somewhere , why?
Eric : she wouldnt pick up her phone.
Me: jeez i wonder why.
Eric : listen im sorry what i did. Can u just forgive me and pretended nothing happen?
Me : do u actually think this thing is a small matter, you betrayed me  and your daughter's trust.
Eric : listen Erica , our wedding is like a week ahead .
Me : so? Do you think i care? So what if the wedding is a week ahead. That doesn't change the fact how much of an stupid unforgivable person u are.
Eric : for fuck sake are you really trying to get on my bad side.
Me : please do. Me and Eliza are already tired of your shit.
