(Chelsy POV)
Dilan and i were downstairs trying to prepare dinner . While charles was watching tv with his cold beer and bunny slippers on.
"Eliza is acting weird again._."
Dilan said while pulling a beer out of the fridge
"Hey put that away , ur supposed to help me with dinner"
I threw a apron at his face and he placed the beer down far away from him
"Alright alright can i drink it later instead?"
I looked at him with sharp eyes then he avoid eye contact with me.
"U didnt answer my question tho, is eliza okay? Shes been acting so off lately after she and Angelina broke up"
Dilan asked while putting his apron on
I sigh and and replied to him while cutting the vegetables up.
"She just needs time to adjust herself. Ik eliza very well shes just too fragile ya know. Shes kind but crazy and if she dont get what she wants. She'll go depressed for a week or more."
I placed the chopped up vegetables in the bowl and wash them throughly . Dilan helped boiling the pasta so we can whip up some homemade mac and cheese for dinner.
*Knock knock*
The door knocked leaving me, dilan and charles silent for a few seconds. Charles grabbed the remote and close the tv , slowly approached the front door.
Why does people come knocking at my door everytime my friends are over . Jesus christ.
(Charles POV)
I slowly walked to the door and looked at the peak hole trying to see who was knocking. And not a moment to soon i see Mrs Jane with her face looking worried and all flushed up like she just came back from a running marathon.
I opened the door and crossed my hands looking at mrs jane with a tad smile at her.
"Mrs Jane what a surprise. What are u doing here?"
I tried not to look hella weird.
"Eliza called me to be here . She said she wanted to talk"
For a moment i thought mrs jane was just joking around so she could get in without hesitating like last time. But this time her face is sincere and she wasnt playing around. I was genuinely confused._.
"Uhh gimme one sec"
I called Dilan over to keep mrs jane company so i can go call eliza over to tell her mrs jane is here.
(Yin POV)
I tried my best to cheer eliza up but its seems like shes keeping some thing from us.
Understanding her is so hard sometimes . Like girl what is bothering u?
Is it about Angelina?
Is it about Taylor?
Is it about me ? Chels? Dilan? Charles?
I cant seem to pick up whats shes hiding from us.
Could it be ?-
Mrs jane?
*Knock*
There goes Charles head popping out at the door
"Yow , Eliza. Ik this is a bad time to ya know talk to u but uh Mrs Jane is Downstairs looking for u."
My jaw dropped. As what i thought. Is there something going on with eliza and mrs jane?
I mean eliza told us before she had a crush on mrs jane but i thought she moved on from her after being with angelina. Could she possibly fall back for her?
"Shes here already? Oh umm can u bring her in?
I wanna have a talk with her *Alone* "
Alone? alone? ALONE??!
private talk alone???
This cant be real.
"Ah thats my que to leave. Ill talk to u later at dinner love "
I gave Eliza a big hug and held her hand before letting go. While heading out the room i bumped into someone accidentally. And without hesitation i apologize.
A small voice suddenly appeared . That sounded familiar
And There goes Mrs Jane walking into the room and closing the door behind her.
Making me stand there . With so much confusion. Wtf just happen.
(Eliza POV)
My heart was pounding so fast, When she was here .
This rarely happens but its probably because of what i witness early.
Mrs Jane walked towards to the bed sitting beside me . And placed her hand on my lap.
I cleared my throat and shifted my seat.
"So i just wanna make it clea-"
when i was About to finish my sentence.
Mrs Jane hugged me.
Leaving me speechless and confused.
Okay wth?
"Um you okay mrs jane?"
I pulled away and i looked at while holding her hand.
"Im sorry about earlier ... I shouldn't have let your dad talk to u that way... I should have stood by you.... Im sorry"
She squeezed my hand.
My eyes were full of tears. So she does have feelings.
For a second i thought shes cold hearted .
I looked away from her while wiping my tears away.
She squeezed my hand tighter .
I tried to held my tears until the traumatising scene came back again between my dad and that stranger .
I choked on air while thinking about it.
I suddenly grabbed mrs jane shoulder and hugged her tighter than before i told her what happen.
"Before i tell you what happen. Can u promise me something please?"
I said while stuttering.
"What why whats going on?"
She looked at me. While putting her hands on my cheek.
I avoided eye contact witg her and started to tell the story
"I was just starting the car to drive to the park.
And then i saw dad's car passing by . BUT HE WASNT ALONE."
I looked at her. Only to see her eyes full of tears .
At this point idk whether i shud tell her what happen exactly. I feel bad for her.
"And... Who was it?"
Her voice trembled.
"I- i dont know. It was a woman and i never seen her before. I caught them making out at her house. I-
ILL NEVER LIE OKAY. DONT YOU DARE THINK IM MAKING THIS AS A LIE SO I CAN MAKE U HATE ON HIM."
I said out loud . Didnt even bother to hold back my tears . Why is this happening . It was going so well until everything fell apart.
"I should have seen at the start..."
Mrs jane try to hold back her tears too . But it's so obvious i could already see it .
