18. Suspicions?

Its been a few weeks since the bonding exercise. I feel alot closer to Shinso since that whole...experience. But me and him often stayed up a talked. Just lowkey hanging out and having fun. I always end up falling asleep with him.

Right now I was just humming. Shinso would come down around maybe 11 or 12. Because he didn't come down yet I was just humming trying not to wake anyone up or anything. Then I heard someone. I looked around and saw shinso.

"OH! Hey Shinso! I thought you weren't gonna come down or something" I smile at him.

"Why wouldn't I?" he asks.

"That's a good question. I don't know! Anyway. Im just making some food for myself if you want some!" I smile, giggling.

"Of course" he smiles back.

After eating and talking I realized something. He didn't come from the dorm rooms. He had came from outside. I heard the door open, I smelt the slight scent of outside and someone else on him. So...Its past midnight why would he have been outside?

"Hey? Shinso? I have a question if you don't mind me asking"

"Whats up Kitten?" He asked me.

"Where were you? You smell like the outside. What were you doing?"

"Uh...I was just taking a walk. Why?"

"You know if you got caught you would have gotten in a shit tone of trouble"

"Well you see-"

"Where you with someone?"

"What-?"

"You smell like outside and someone else"

"What are you trying to say?"

"Im just asking a question and you are lying to me!"

"And you think Im lying, why?"

"I already-" Then I felt a surge in my body as I then freeze...was he using his powers on me!? Really!?

"Why do you think Im lying to you?"

"Because," I start to speak, my voice dull now, "you came from outside, and don't smell like just you. I wanted to know what you were doing and who you were with" I felt normal again when I felt him push me.

"Why would I lie to you? Listen. I was just on a walk with one of my friends and talking with them. I promise"

I still feel like he is lying to me! But I will just trust him for now until I 100% know whats going on and if he isn't what he seems. Although I have known him for a while. I doubt that he isn't what he seems. He is like a younger Aizawa. Sleep deprived and done with everyones bullshit! He isn't doing anything bad...right? He wants to prove others wrong. He isn't a villain...right?

I hope you arent lying to me Shinso...I trust you a lot. And I hope that's a good choice.

We just went quite for a bit.

"We should go to sleep now"

"Yeah, we should" I said softly. Of course we don't. We stay up...Not saying much for about 5 minuets. But of course I spoke first.

"You wouldn't lie to me about where you were...right? I shouldn't worry? It wasn't anything bad?"

"Nope"

"Ok. Im trusting you Shinso!" I smile at him again. He gently smiles and moves my hair out of my face.

"Yeah. Thank you" he says to me. I nod softly. I trust him a lot. Now we started talking again. Around maybe 4? We both went to sleep. Finally.

When I wake up we were together sleeping, me ontop of him and him holding me. I gently sneak out of his arms and stands. I hope he doesn't wake up-

AND he is awake!

"Hmm..." He says softly as he sits up. His hair even more messed up then it was when hes awake! "What are you doing...? You usually awake well past now when we don't have school"

"Yeah..." Think think think! I don't want him to think IM the one doing something suspicious! I just wanna see if he did anything, or if he left anything behind to help me find out what he was really doing out last night! "I was just stretching. I thought I heard something so I was gonna go check it out and stuff, ya know?"

"oh...do you want me to come along?"

"No. I should be fine Shinso! So you don't have to worry"

"Well we dont know-"

"Yeah we don't know what it is but Im sure its just one of the boys, or other students, ya know?"

"I guess you could be right...ok. I know you will be safe!"

~Shinsos pov~

Oh! Does she think Im going to let her out alone when something dangerous could be walking around? No! Of course not! I love her way to much to let her go out alone. I mean I know she is strong but if she gets hurts then I will feel so guilty! So of course I have to go follow her.

I follow her at a distance to where she cant sense me but I could keep an eye on her. Then she passes just where I was earlier. She stops and backs up infront of it. Sniffing. No one was there. I know she didnt smell-...she smelt me then. There. Fuck. I knew I was there to long. My scent must still be lingering. If she sees what I did she will stop talking to me!

I run up and gently grab her arm stopping her from going in.

"Eh- Shinso what are you?" She questions with a gasp. I then see Hound dog doing his early morning rounds and I push her into a near by bush covering her mouth. "Ah-!"

"shhhh its hound dog. im wearing black we wont be able to see us because there arent any lights just shhhh" I said softly gently lays ontop her. Her face became red and so did mine. We were so close...

Hound dog sniffed just above us...

Oh god dont look down for the love of god dont look down..

I then hear him leave. I let out a breath I didnt even know I was holding in. So did she. I uncover her mouth.

"Sorry. I...I saw him and panicked. I was following you because I didnt want you to get hurt. Hound dog was probably the one you heard"

"Yeah...maybe...sorry Shinso. I should have let you come along. Lets get back to the dorms" she nods gently. I stand and help her up. We leave together...
