💚 Dongmyeong- ONEWE 💚

This is my own original idea

Son Dongmyeong and I have been dating for the last 3 months. He is a very cute boyfriend and I'm very lucky to have him in my life. We met at a summer music camp during the summer and it was great. I'm a guitarist and a singer and Dongmyeong plays the keyboard and sings too. We are both very musical people. That's why we go together so well and enjoy being together. I've told my parents all about Dongmyeong and they said he seems like a really nice guy. Really sweet and down to earth and they can't wait to meet him. So he is coming over today to meet them for the first time. He said he is excited about meeting them but a little nervous too as he wants to make a good first impression of himself. He wants to show my parents that he is good enough for me which is absolutely is. Dongmyeong will be arriving in the next hour or so. I'm helping my mom cook a meal later. I love helping her cook. My cooking is one of Dongmyeong's favourite things about me. Awwww he's so cute. My mom is doing the prep of the meal and I'll help her later when I'm ready. Right I haven't got too much time left to get ready. Dongmyeong will be arriving in less than an hour. I sit at my dressing table and do my makeup. I like to take pride when doing my makeup. Dongmyeong says I look beautiful without my makeup on. I like to do it. I do my makeup then my hair before choosing something to wear. I go through my closet and decided what to wear. I go for a cute skirt with a blouse and cardigan. Knee high socks to go with it. I like dressing like that. My main attire. I get dressed and check myself in the mirror. I think Dongmyeong would approve. He should be here anytime now so I'm ready just in time. I go downstairs and wait for him. I see him arrive and open the door. "Hello, my beautiful" Dongmyeong smiles. He has a bunch of flowers in his hand and a plant too. "Hey, cutie" I say. He steps in and smiles at me. "Wow! You look so beautiful today, Y/ N. You're so stunning" he smiles. "Thank you, Myeongie. You always make me feel beautiful and stunning" I say. He hands me the flowers and I smile before he kisses me. He goes through to the kitchen with me and meets my parents. "Mom, dad. This is Dongmyeong. Dongmyeong, my mom and dad" I say. "Hello, Dongmyeong. It's nice to meet you" mom says. "Nice to meet you too" he smiles. "Dongmyeong, Y/ N has told us so much about you. Lovely to meet you" dad said. "Oh, Mrs Y/ L/ N. A little something for you" Dongmyeong said. "Thank you. That's so nice of you. What a lovely boy you got, Y/ N?" my mom said. Dongmyeong smiles

Dongmyeong makes himself comfortable in the lounge while I help my mom out in the kitchen with the meal which we will be having soon. My dad talks to Dongmyeong in the lounge. I hope he's not bombarding him with lots of questions. I keep on looking to see if they are okay and they seem to be. "You guys okay" I say. "Yes we are just fine, babe" Dongmyeong said. Me and my mom are a team in the kitchen. When the meal was ready, my dad and Dongmyeong came in. "Smells so good" Dongmyeong smiles. I smile back. "Yay!" my dad cheered. Always happy when food is on the table. We tuck in and talk as much as we can at the dinner table. I could tell Dongmyeong was really happy to be here. After lunch we all tidy up and then have some cakes we made in the lounge. "You are both really good bakers"
Dongmyeong said. "Thanks, babe" I say. "Thank you, Dongmyeong. You're so kind" my mom said. The cakes went down very well. "So finally we get to meet you, Dongmyeong. Y/ N has told us so much about you" my dad said. "Yes I know. It's great to finally meet you too after all this time" Dongmyeong said. "He's a good one. Isn't he, mom and dad?" I say. "Yes he is. The sweetest" mom replies. "Y/ N, has never really brought a guy home before so you must be special, Dongmyeong. I see that you are" my dad says. "Your daughter is very special to me indeed" he said looking at me. My parents commented on the way we look at each other and said how cute it is. Awe bless. I think we are a cute couple if I say so myself. Anyway Dongmyeong stayed for a while longer till the evening and he had a great day meeting my parents for the first time. They enjoyed meeting him too and said how lovely he is. They are definitely right about that

It's a few weeks later and Dongmyeong has met my parents twice more. We are thinking about introducing him to my extended family soon. My grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Maybe we will. He's already become part of the family and I've become apart of his too. We are very happy together indeed. We love making music together. We are at Dongmyeong's house today doing something music related in his room. His family really nice me too. I think his twin brother, Dongju has a crush on me. I heard them fighting over me once when we first got together. Haha. That's funny. Anyway today we are having fun making music. Dongmyeong is playing his keyboard and I'm playing my guitar. "Should we write a song or do a cover?" he asks. "Both. I don't have any song ideas just know" I say. "We could do this song. I like this one" he said. We sing Say Something by A Great Big World and Christina Augilera. I love this song. Dongmyeong plays his keyboard and starts singing. I join in at the second verse. We both look at each other while we sing. We sing the song through a couple of times. "Oh, sweetie. We do make sweet music. Don't we?" Dongmyeong says. "Oh yes we do, Myeongie. We do indeed" I say. "Our love for music and our love for each other" he said. "Yes certainly" I say. "Y/ N, you're so beautiful and I think I'm falling in love with you" he said. "I-I think I'm falling in love with you too" I smile. "You really are the best girl I've ever met. I love you" Dongmyeong said. "I love you too, Dongmyeong" I smile. He gets out of his seat and kisses me. The kiss was sweet as usual. We carry on making music for a bit longer in Dongmyeong's room. Wow! It was so good. The sweet sound of music was filling our ears

Dongmyeong and I have been together more than 6 months now and he's just about met all my family now. More than once actually. They all really like him and thinks he's the one for me. It's my grandmothers 80th birthday today so we are having a celebration for her. Dongmyeong is with us of course as he's part of the family now. My dad sometimes refers to him as his son which is sweet. My grandma is enjoying her birthday today. It's at my aunt and uncles place as they have a big backyard. My cousins like hanging out with Dongmyeong especially my guy cousins. They find him awesome. Anyway the party is going on and everyone is enjoying themselves especially my grandma. She is opening net gifts now. Dongmyeong and I brought her a joint gift that we think she'll like. She looks so happy opening her gifts. After presents it was cake time. Dongmyeong looked a little nervous eating his cake. I don't know what was on his mind after cake time there was a silence for a moment. "Dongmyeong, I believe there's something you want to ask my daughter" my dad said. "Yes there is Mr Y/ L/ N" Dongmyeong said. Everyone looks at us too. "Y/ N, I asked your dad earlier and he said this was okay. We have been together 6 months now and I love you. I know we are only young but your dad says if you love her then ask her to marry you. So, Beautiful Y/ N. Will you marry me? I really want to spend the rest of my life with you" Dongmyeong said. I could believe it for a second. I was speechless. Did Dongmyeong just ask me to marry him in front of my family? "Yes I will marry you, Dongmyeong" I say. "Yay! That's wonderful. I'm so happy" he said. He stands up and kisses me. "No ring yet but I will get one" he said. My dad has the biggest smile on his face. Dongmyeong and I are now engaged. It doesn't matter that he hasn't got a ring yet but we are engaged. We will get married in the future and give ourselves to each other on our wedding night as that's the right thing to do. Can't believe we are engaged to be married
