Snow crunched under the feet of the three skeletons as they walked into town. It was a slow day that day. Calm weather, barely any wind, just a lovely day in Snowdin.

That day Sans had the day off, Gaster still had work at the lab, while Papyrus was at school. So it left Sans, Dream, and Nightmare together at the house.

Since it was only the three of them Sans decided that it would be best to finally take the twins out to eat at Grillby's. The skeleton in blue looked up at the glass Bar door once they got there.

He then looked back at Nightmare and Dream. "This here is th only restaurant in th village. 's simple an really nice."

"Oh I remember you told us a little about it when we were first exploring Snowdin that one day." Dream smiled happily as he looked up at the bars sign.

"Yep. An I must say th bar tender is on fire." A small chuckle left him as he pushed the door open and walked in. Nightmare slowly nodded as he walked inside and looked around at everything.

The entire building was really warm, especially when comparing it to the house. The floor was made out of planks of wood. The walls are a dark red with a few candle lamps hanging on the walls.

There were five different tables to sit at. Two to their right and three to their left. To their left is a two person table with two dog monsters happily talking to one another, a large round rectangle table with four dog monsters playing a card game, one dog sitting at table alone.

Around the two booth tables to their right there were three monsters. A rabbit monster with swirling eyes had their head resting on the table. Behind them a massive mouth plant fish looking monster was talking to a bird monster. The two of them laughing at whatever they were talking about.

Then there was the bar with all the tall booth seats. A not so good looking fish monster was leaning on the bar and seemed lost in thought. Next to them is a red bird monster. To the right beside the bar is a music player that the twins have never seen before. Sitting next to the jukebox is a horse monster, who was happily talking on the phone.

"Hu...?" Nightmare thought as he sniffed the air. The air smelled weird. It wasn't a bad smell it was just weird. Especially since he and his brother had never smelled half of these odd smells before.

He softly hummed and glanced around at the other monsters that were sitting around the room. Everyone was happily talking to one another, playing simple games or whatever. The atmosphere in the building is relaxing and nice.

Dream grinned a little as he looked around and noticed a few monsters that they haven't met yet. "Those two dog monsters in armor r a part of th royal guard. They work at th sensory stations past th sign entering Snowdin."

Sans explained as he motioned to an elderly looking dog that had a leather chest piece and a massive dog in massive armor. "They always come here fer their lunch break. Th rest of their family is also working on joinin th royal guard. 're hasn' been any open positions just yet so 're mostly gettin trainin done."

He winked at the twins and pulled his zipper down a little. The heat being a little too much at the moment. Dream nodded as he looked around. He really wasn't a fan of the smell in the building.

And Nightmare has always told him that it's okay to not like somethings. So even though he liked everything else about the bar the smell was over all the only thing he hated at the moment.
