The lab was mostly quiet. Aside from the occasional sound of the machines in the walls working. Steam puffing, chemicals boiling, some beeping, walking, quiet chatter, or even some music that one of the other scientists were listening to as they working away.
Everyone in the lab doing what they can to keep the Core running. While, at the same time trying to figure out a possible way to destroy the barrier. Without needing to kill any more humans.
It was one of those days were the assistances had the next few days off while the grown ups had their normal work hours. So they were working extra hard trying to figure out a possible solution.
Gaster sighed as he stood in front of a massive computer and stared at the results that had come up.
Recently over the past few weeks. Something had been doing on with the Core. Odd readings kept popping up. These readings happening randomly at very random times.
Most likely something going wrong with one of the possible mechanics. Or it could have something to do with the side project that they had been working on.
Something could be wrong with that and making other things have glitches or errors come up. It wouldn't be the first time a wire or fired circuit would do something like that.
Ir was also one of the major reasons why they were always working in the lab and rarely ever took a break. Needing to make sure the Core kept properly working and nothing wrong happened.
A short yellow dinosaur tilted her head as she walked up go Gaster's side. A file of papers held clenched in her tail. Taking noticing that he was slightly frustrated with something.
"Is something the matter Gaster? You seem... flustered." Tilting her head to the side as she handed him the folder of papers she was asked to collect earlier.
"It's nothing to really worry about Hazel. I'm just a little worried about something outside of work. You see I've been wanting to do some training with Dream and Nightmare. But since the Core is having problems I can't train them. So their behind on magic training," Gaster rubbed the back of his neck.
Thinking about the twins as they needed to learn how to properly use their magic. Even if it was only the basics and nothing more.
"I know Sans would love to help but he'll likely fall asleep after the first flew attacks. While Papyrus is still learning to summon an attack."
Hazel slowly nodded as she thought about it. They have been busy working on everything. To make sure the Core doesn't explode. Happily smiling as an idea came to mind.
"Why don't I give Axel a call? My husband can happily take your kids out for a few rounds of training. Besides he could use a break from MK. Especially since his mother is coming over. Granny wants to play with her grand kid." She softly chuckled and smiled up at her.
"Oh I don't wish to bother him with-" "W.D Gaster. It's fine. Unless you want me to ask Undyne to train then just give it a shot. Trust me Axel will happily give the boys a few lessons in magic. He was going to take a day to train anyways. So why not give them a hand while he's at it." She softly chuckled and took the clipboard from Gaster into her tail.
Gaster thought about it for a moment before nodding a little. Even though he didn't want to bother Axel with it he didn't have much of an option. "Okay then. What day will he be free?" He glanced down at her.
