Gaster smiled as he looked oce the pieces that were laid over the desk in his room. 24 pieces carefully led out he had found this item at the dump. It wasn't badly destroyed.

The primary damage being the glass that was cracked. The rest of the pieces that are metallic were slightly rusted. So, he had carefully cleaned and fixed everything up. Took him a bit to get the glass. Mostly because the glass needed to be carefully shaped into a circle. That would best fit the two ends of the object.

The tall dark skeleton quietly hummed to himself as he started to slowly put the item back together. Smiling happily as everything was coming together well. This item is a telescope. He was so lucky to find this. Carefully picking it up and looking through it. Making sure the glass wasn't  broken and wouldn't fall out.

He would need to repaint it in the future. As some of the paint was chipping off. It made it look like it would break apart. So, he will need to get some gray paint to recoat it. Smiling happily. Grabbing a case and placing the telescope inside.

He had spent the past 3 days fixing up. Now the telescope was finally finished. Grabbing a cloth and carefully cleaning the glass once again. He didn't want any possible bone prints left on the surface of the glass. Closing the case and clicking both the latches shut.

Picking up the case and walking out of his room. Looking down the handrail he could see three of his sons happily playing. Papyrus, Nightmare, and Dream were happily playing. A smile coming on Gaster's face as he walked down the hall to Papyrus and Sans' room.

Looking up at the door he knocked. "Knock knock." "Who' there?" Gaster blinked a little. Slightly chuckling and shaking his head. Knowing that his son would probably want a joke. Thinking for a moment and smiling as he thought of a joke.

"Nobel." "... Nobel who?" "Nobel... that is why I knocked." Gaster smiled as he heard a laugh coming from his son behind the door. While also hearing a groan from Papyrus downstairs. "DAD WHY!" The orange skeleton yelled from downstairs.

"Come in." The blue skeleton in the room smiled.

Gaster smiled as he opened the door and walked inside. Looking around wondering where his eldest was. He saw his sons game counsel set down on the long bookshelf. The item charging as the battery was obviously low. He then saw Sans. The short blue skeleton is sitting in one of the Classic child chairs. Reading a book.

Seeing his eldest sitting in that plastic chair. At the brightly colored plastic kids furniture. That got him thinking. 'Hmmm... I should buy some new furniture for Sans and Papyrus. Soon Papyrus will be too big and will not need any of that plastic furniture any more very soon. He will be too tall with how he has been growing. Plus a possible growth spurt happening sometime soon.' With that in mind he added it to the mental list of things to do.

Sans blinked as he continued to read. Blindly feeling around for a bookmark. Not wanting to take his eye lights off of whatever paragraph he was on. Getting a chuckle out of Gaster. This makes some sense. It can be annoying to find the last paragraph you were last on again.

"Well I wish to spend some time with you. I found and fixed up an item that you will like." He smiled happily. Showing the case that the telescope is in. Not saying what was inside. Wanting the telescope to be a surprise. "Some simple and fun father son bonding."

Sans placed the bookmark between the two pages. Setting the book down and looking up. Raising a brow. Eye lights looking at the case and trying to figure out what's inside. "Wha is it?" Tilting his skull to the side. Getting up. Pushing the chair in before walking up to his father's side.
