Dream tilted his head as he looked around Gaster's room. Smiling as he started to look through the closet. He had found a few boxes on the ground and was looking through them. To see if there was anything intresting inside.
It was the weekend so he and his brothers didn't have anywhere to go. Especially since they managed to finish reading some practice work. It wasn't anything crazy. Just some papers their teachers gave them so they can practice and catch up with their other classmates.
They would've gone outside and played in the snow, but there was a magic snowstorm happening outside. So Sans was keeping everyone inside while they waited for Gaster to return.
He and Nightmare decided to look through the closets. Wanting to see If they could find a game or something else to play with. So he took Gaster's room while Nightmare was looking through the closet in the hallway.
Gaster had a lot of boxes in his closet. Some of them having nothing but old papers, while in two of the boxes he managed to find a few baby toys. Though nothing really fun to play with. Scratching the back of his skull Dream looked up once again. Blinking a little as he spotted a few boxes that were high up on a shelf out of his reach.
That wouldn't deter the yellow skeleton. Since he could be pretty stubborn when he wanted. Standing up the skeleton quickly made his way down stairs to grab a chair to stand on.
Dragging it behind him and lifting up a bit to slowly drag it up the stairs back to Gaster's room.
Sans and Papyrus were both sitting in their room. Talking and coloring the day away. Doing something to pass the time as they waited for Gaster to come home. Sans allowing the twins to almost do anything so long as they didn't destroy anything. Simple request after all.
He passed Nightmare and saw that he had managed to find a game or two that seemed to have been stored in the back of the closet. Which means they could all play a game together. Dream smiled as he dragged the chair into Gaster's room.
Placing the chair down he looked up at the boxes again. Wondering what could be inside of them. Climbing up he grinned as he was just about tall enough.
Carefully grabbing a hold of the sides of the box he slowly pulled it back. Wiggling it a few times when it got stuck.
He huffed in frustration. Shakily standing on the metatarsal bones of his feet to make the last inch that was needed to hold onto the box. He grinned as he managed to put a hand onto the bottom of the box.
Though the box was heavier then it looked. One of his knees then buckled. "Uh-oh." He nervously laughed.
Sans and Papyrus happily talked about what were gonna do once their father got home. Coloring away and making whatever came to mind.
Sans hummed a little as ha drew an image of a machine with a colored pencil. Chuckling at the design. It wasn't much and just something random he was drawing for fun. While Papyrus was happily drawing a bunch of blocky figures of their family. Each of them hugging each other.
While coloring a loud crash filled the house. Making the skeletons jump in surprise. Sans quickly stood up and ran out of the room. "What was that?" Sockets wide looking down the hall at Nightmare.
"I DON'T KNOW!" Papyrus replied from behind following behind Sans. Nightmare was standing looking inside of their father's room. Slightly frowning in worry.
