The time was 5:00 pm. Pink hues filled the blue sky, along with some red shades of ribbons, the clouds adding to the beauty of the sunset. Darkness started to peak from the west, as if it was eagerly waiting to arrive.
'Thank God, I am on time.' You thought & then rang the doorbell.
"Coming!" You heard a familiar voice from the other side of the door, the voice of your best friend, which was enough to lighten up your bad day. You smiled to yourself and waited for the door to open.
Taehyung opened the door and then looked at his wrist watch, his eyes narrowed. He then looked at you with his eyes a bit enlarged."Is this a miracle or a dream? For the first time you are so punctual!"He now had a big smile on his face.
You chuckled and said, "Mr. Best friend, it's your birthday today. Do you really think I'm going to be late, at least, for this day?"
He smiled and opened his arms. You were about to hug him when he stopped you and said, "I want my gift, I don't want a hug. Where's it?"
You pouted and gave him the Gucci bag (which contained a Gucci Sunglass and some Gucci shirts) you were carrying. Taehyung and his obsession with Gucci was no joke. He once even said about buying all the showrooms of Gucci in Korea, while being drunk.
"You are so mean". You pouted.
He took the bag from you and said, " Come in, it's cold outside."
You came in and sat on the sofa, while Taehyung closed the door and walked towards you. You were still pouting.
He sat beside you and hugged you tightly. You resisted in a friendly anger but he didn't leave you. He didn't even budge a little while he literally crushed you in his arms.
"My biggest gift for today is that you, came here despite your busy schedule". You smiled and hugged him back. Though after a moment, you began to feel breathless in the bone crushing hug.
"Tae-..... C-Can you leave me, I can't breathe!!" You said while feeling suffocated and Taehyung immediately released you. He gave you a sheepish smile while you took long and deep breaths.
"I am sorry!" He said while rubbing his neck slightly and you nodded a little at him.
"Apology accepted."
All of a sudden, Yeontan came running and began to jump on you excitedly. You held him up and kept him on your lap. You pampered him and kissed on his forehead. Yeontan licked your hand and face lovingly.
" I guess he loves to be with you." Taehyung said.
"Hmm... That's because you irritate him a lot.' You said while patting very lightly on Yeontan's forehead.
Taehyung passed a smirk and said, "I can never irritate anyone. I am a good boy! The whole world knows it."
You looked at him suspiciously and said, "I know you much better than the world."
Taehyung smiled and said, "I think I should make some hot chocolate for both of us."You nodded and he got up and headed straight towards the kitchen.
You looked down and saw Yeontan resting peacefully on your lap. You smiled and continued to pat his forehead lovingly in a very light manner.
