(A/N: Whoo! It's been a hot minute since I updated! I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get updates out. I just started a new job and I am gone all day and exhausted by the time I get home. I promise, I'll get updates out as soon as I am able. Anyway, this was requested by @sarahinnonce34. I really hope you like it!)

I sighed as I sat my bag down by the check in desk.

"Scarllet?" I asked, looking down at my twelve year old daughter. "Would you go help your Father get our bags please?" I asked. She nodded.

"Okay, Mom." She said and hurried out the door. I looked around. "Maverick! Aspen!" I called, finally spotting my eight year old son and six year old daughter. They looked up from looking out the window. "Come back here by me please." I called.

"Okay, Mom."

"Okay Mommy." They came back over to me, and I smiled at the desk attendant.

"Hello! I'm Carter Kennedy, and I have a room reservation for two adults and three children for two weeks." I said. She looked at the computer.

"Okay, here we are! Your room is on the third floor, number 325." She said with a smile. I returned it, just as Leon and Scarllet both walked in. I grabbed the key.

"Awesome, thanks!" I said, and picked my bag up.

"Ready, babe?" Leon asked. I nodded.

"Yep! Third floor, 325." I said, and the five of us headed for the elevator. After everything we've been through, Leon and I decided that we were all long overdue for a family vacation! So, we packed up the kids and drove up to Maine for a few weeks! We were gonna go to the ocean to let the kids swim, check out a few aquariums, and just relax! If you asked us, we deserved it! Once we got up to our room, the kids flopped down on their beds in their separate room, and Leon and I collapsed onto ours, laughing as we did so. We'd all agreed to just take the rest of this day easy and watch some movies in our room. The next morning, we were up early, ate breakfast, then headed down to the beach to spend the day in the ocean! Leon set up an umbrella, and I set a blanket down on the sand. Leon and I sat down on the blanket.  "Okay girls, come here so I can put sunscreen on you." I said, and I heard them groan slightly. I giggle. "Scar, Aspen, you both know the drill when we're at the beach! Sunburns hurt, you know!" I said. They came over to me, and I tossed another bottle of sunscreen to Leon.

"Alright Mav, time to sunscreen up!" Leon said, and Maverick ran over to him, eager to get in the water. Once Scar was done, I began to help Aspen. "Aspen, don't run off just yet, we still have to put you're floaties on." I said. She frowned a little.

"But Mama, I can swim!" She said. I smiled.

"I know you can, love, but this is much different from a pool. You aren't that strong a swimmer yet, and the ocean can get very dangerous very quickly. It's better to be safe than sorry." I said. She sighed.

"Yeah, I guess." She said. I smiled again, and inflated her floaties, before sliding them onto her arms.

"Okay guys, don't go out too far, and stay together." Leon said. I nodded.

"Aspen, please stay closer to the shallow end. We'll be right in this spot if you need us." I added, and off they went to play! I put sunscreen on myself, then grabbed my book and settled down under the umbrella next to Leon. He looked over at me with a small frown on his face. I looked up at him. "What?" I asked.

"You're still wearing your cover up. Aren't you gonna get hot?" He asked. I blushed a little, and quickly looked back to my book.

"No. I'll be fine." I said, turning the page. Leon placed his hand on my book, and moved it down to my lap, looking at me with a raised eyebrow. He was not buying it.

"Mhm. Sure. Now, why aren't you actually taking it off?" He asked. I  sighed, knowing I wasn't going to get out of this question easily. I rubbed the back of my neck, nervously.

"I...Ugh...my body doesn't look good after having three kids, Leon. Combine that with all the scars and shit I have all over me from the years of fighting bioterror...I'm really not eager to show my body off and have a ton of super model-looking people judging me..." I said, looking away. However, I couldn't look away for long, as Leon gently grabbed my chin, and made me look at him.

"You really feel that way?" He asked, and I nodded. "Hey, whether you think so or not, you did something amazing. You gave us three beautiful children, and you should be proud that your body did that! Not only that, but how many times have you saved the world?" He asked. I blushed, but smiled a little.

"Not alone, obviously. You should take more credit for that than I should." I said, but he shook his head.

"Nope. If you hadn't been there, I don't know if I could have done it. You've saved the world and given us three children that neither of us would trade for the world. So what if it shows on your body a little? It means you lived a life worth living." He said. I had tears in my eyes, and I wiped them away.

"Thanks, Leon. That really means a lot to me." I said. I then saw him get a devilish smirk on his face. I knew exactly what was coming next. I squinted at him. "Leon Kennedy, don't you dare-"

"I certainly wouldn't trade that gorgeous body of yours for anything! I enjoy lookin' at it..." He started kissing my neck, as I turned bright red.

"Leon! Leon Scott Kennedy, our children are in the water and can see us, stoooopppp!!!" I said, but I was laughing really hard. Leon started laughing to.

"Fine, fine, but I make no promises when we get back to our room" He said, winking at me. I blushed, but finally took my cover up off, revealing my green and gold bikini. Leon wolf whistled. "That's my girl." He said, and I playfully smacked his arm.

"Stop that!" I giggled. That's when I saw Scarllet running up to us.

"Mom! Dad! Come swim with us!" She said. I smiled and grinned wolfishly at Leon.

"Race ya!" I said, jumping up and following Scarllet to the water.

"Oh, it's on!" I heard behind me, and as we were running, I felt myself being lifted from the ground. I heard Scarllet squeal in delight. Leon picked us both up and was now running for the water!

"No! Baby, nooo!!!" I cried, laughing.

"Dad, no!" Scar added, but she was laughing just as hard as I was. Once we reached the water, Leon threw us both in! We came up squealing because it was cold. Leon began laughing too. I looked at Scarlett.

"Should we get him?" I asked. She smirked.

"Yes!" She said. With that, she and I tackled Leon into the water. We all came up laughing, and Maverick and Aspen joined us shortly after. Seeing my husband, daughters, and son all smiling and laughing, I couldn't help the smile that grew on my face. This was exactly what I'd always wanted. A big, happy family, all my own. And I finally had it.
