Bryce Loski's POV:

I sat there in the tree staring into the sun. I didn't mean to hurt Juli. It's just that I needed to move on. I wasn't sure if she was ever going to come back.

I walked to class. I was greeted with my girlfriend, "Hi Bryce, um we need to talk later, okay?"

"Yeah sure." She walked off with her friends. You see Ruby was more of the popular kind of chick. She was nice, cute, ya know, you're stereotypical type of girl. Our relationship was a whole stereotype in general to be honest. The school's most popular girl with the school's golden boy. It made sense, but our relationship isn't what it seems.

Juli Baker's POV:

I walked into class and sat in my seat. I guess I was already famous around the school because rumor has it, Bryce is cheating on Ruby with me. Some people already walked up to me asking how I knew Bryce. I just said we were great friends in middle school up until I moved.

I was getting my lunch while talking with Dana, Marie, and Miles when Ruby tapped me on the shoulder.

"Hey you. The girl with messy hair." I turned around already pissed off at the sight of her. She had red hair and green eyes with lots of freckles. She was wearing a sweater (that looked like Bryce's) and some ripped jeans.

"Uh- Hello?"

"What's up with you and my boyfriend?"

"Boyfriend? Ohhh you mean Bryce. Nothing much, we just saw each other again since 8th grade so we've been just hanging out I guess."

"Well maybe you should stop hanging out with him. You look like a fucking weirdo anyways." Her little group of friends started laughing as she smirked and walked away.

"At least I can trust my boyfriend with other girls!" I shouted. The whole Cafeteria went quiet. She turned around.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me. It's ok, lots of people usually feel deranged around me." She lifted her arm up about to slap me but then someone grabbed her arm.

"Ok, that's enough." The voice sounded a little familiar. I looked up and saw Jayce. He grabbed my hand and said, "Cmon Juli let's go." Bryce walked in the cafeteria and Jayce told him, "Calm you're psycho bitch girlfriend. She almost slapped Juli." Bryce looked at me and asked if I was okay.

"Maybe you should focus on your girlfriend right now Bryce. Shouldn't she be more dear to you?"

Me and Jayce walked out of the cafeteria.

I just wanted to say I'm super sorry for not updating. Stuff has been coming up recently and I need to deal with my mental health first. Also sorry for a short chapter today. I just wanted to give you guys something! Also Happy New Years! I hope you guys have a great 2021! :)
