Dress Shopping

Juli Baker's POV:

Me, Dana, and Marie all went to the Mall the find some dresses for the prom. All though I didn't want to go, I'm only going so I can make Dana happy. Also so she can stop bugging me.

We went into this store named 'Dress World'. They had lots of big and poofy dresses in there. I think it was a dress shop for quinces but I'm sure they have something.

"What style are you going for, babe?" Marie asked Dana.

"Hm, I'm not too sure. I think I want to go with a dark red color. What about you, Juli?"

"Definitely like an emerald green! I don't know why but I've been into different shades of darker greens lately." A lady walked up to us and asked what we were looking for. We said prom dresses and she took us to go get measured. Multiple ladies started measuring us and came out with dresses that might be in our interests.

After about 2 hours, Marie and Dana already picked their dresses. Dana's was a dark red long dress with a little bit of gold on it and Marie decided on a short dress which was also dark red and a gold ribbon around the waist. Both were beautiful. I still wasn't feeling any of the dresses they showed me.

"Cmon, Julie! Just pick a dress, I'm starving!!"
I rolled my eyes. She was right though, we were all super hungry. As I was thinking about food, one of the workers brought out this beautiful emerald green dress. It was a off the shoulder long dress. It had a slit on the leg and it was absolutely flawless. We all checked out and went to go grab something to eat.

"Juli, that dress was beautiful! Honestly, so worth the wait to be honest." Marie told me.

"Thank you, Marie. It means a lot. It kind of sucks that I don't have a date."

"Don't even worry about it, Juli! We can all have fun! Just the three of us, and if you get a date, then you won't have to worry about that anymore!" Dana said.

She was right, I'm only going to hang out with my friends and if I do end up getting a date, then it'll be even more fun with a date too!

Jayce Morales' POV:

I was going to ask Juli out to the Prom. Marie told me that they all went dress shopping and she told me the color so if she does say yes, I can buy a matching suit. Do you know the movie with Audrey Heperd as Holly and Marlon Brando as Paul? Well that's her favorite movie. So I was going to make a poster board that says "Will you be the Holly to my Paul at Prom?" (Throwback to chapter 3 if y'all don't remember) I got her roses and prepared myself for school.

I saw her walking with Dana and showed Juli the poster board. Her jaw dropped. She ran and hugged me.

"Yes! Of course I'll go to Prom with you!" Everyone clapped and cheered. I felt like the happiest man alive! As I let her go from my arms, she asked, "How did you know that was my favorite movie?"

"Oh, well I have connections everywhere!" I winked. Actually, I asked Dana what her favorite movie was.

"Just letting you know, I'm running for Prom King!"

"Oh god!" She chuckled.

Bryce Loski's POV:

When I heard the news that Jayce asked Juli to the Prom, my heart dropped. I don't know what I was thinking. I don't know why I was so jealous. Juli is allowed to go out with whoever she wants. But I just couldn't stand the fact it was Jayce. That kid never gave me a good feeling.

I need to stop. I didn't wait for Juli all these years. I have Ruby to go to the Prom with. I need to be happy for Juli!

"Babe, you ready to go to class?" Ruby asked me knocking me back into reality.

"Yup!" I grabbed her hand and we walked to class together.

As long as Juli is happy, I'm happy.
