The New Kids

*Hey Guys, I just wanted to let you know that this chapter is going to be Bryce and Juli's POV. Also one of the new characters is going to have a POV of their own! I'm introducing 3 new characters. 2 of them are twins. Their name are Marie and Miles. The other new character is going to be named Jayce. Anyways let us get on with the story.*

Juli Baker's POV:

It was the next day of school and me and Bryce were getting along pretty well that day. Me, Dana, Dave and Bryce were all talking about what we should do the next time if we hang out again and when. Then it was time for math class. Ms.Becerra was my favorite teacher, So I didn't mind math class like everyone else did. She made this class fun I guess. Me and Bryce were in this same class. As we were learning about percentages this kid walked in. And if I have to be honest, I found him pretty cute. "Ok class! This is our new student! Would you like to introduce yourself to the class?"

Jayce Morales's POV:

It was the first day of school. Well, the first day of a new school. I just moved from San Francisco, CA to this very small and boring town called Mayfield in Michigan. My mom got a new job here so that's why we moved. You're probably wondering, What about my dad? Well, he died when he got into a car crash when I was only 6. But here I am 13 years old in 8th Grade. My 3rd-period class looked like to be in math class. Wasn't my favorite class but I didn't mind it.

My Math Teacher's name is Ms.Becerra. When I walked in, I looked around. I tapped on Ms.Becerra's shoulder and she asked me to introduce myself to the class. "Hello. My name is Jayce Morales. I moved here from San Francisco, California. You also might see my 2 other cousins that are also new here today. They're twins." But as I was talking I saw this girl. She looks absolutely beautiful. I wonder what her name was. I needed to know who she was. "But anyway that's why I moved here." "Well, that's wonderful that you moved here. Go ahead and take a seat right next to Juli Baker.", Ms.Becerra told me while pointing at her. So that's her name. Juli Baker. It was decided. During lunch, I was going to ask her to please give me a tour!

Bryce Loski's POV:

When Jayce was introducing himself, I noticed that he was looking at Juli, like she was the only person in the room. And I didn't like it. It had me furious. I wonder if he was going to try and pull something. When class ended, I saw that Jayce ran up to Juli and they started walking off together. I wanted to do something but then Dave came.

"Hey, Bryce.", Dave said putting his arm around my neck.

"Oh, Hey Dave."

"Ready to go to lunch? Dana is waiting for us."

"Yeah...Let's go."

When we sat down at lunch, I noticed Juli wasn't there. I knew she was with Jayce but I didn't know why. "Hey Dana, Do you know where Juli is at?" "Oh, she's giving the new kid, Jayce, a tour. She told me before she left. And oh boy how lucky she is! He is a C-U-T-I-E, cutie!"

"Oh...Cool."

We all then started talking but I was thinking about Juli the whole time. I couldn't stand the fact that she was hanging out with the new kid Jayce. I needed to do something about it.

Jayce Morales's POV:

I ran up to Juli when class ended. "Juli!" She turned around. "Hey um, I was wondering if you can give me a tour around the school?" "Oh yeah, sure! But let me go tell my friend first." "Oh, Okay!", I said smiling at her. She went to go tell her friend and I was thinking about her the whole time. "Ok, are you ready to go?" "Yup!",I told Juli.

"Well let's get on with the tour!"

As she was giving me in the tour I asked her a question,

"Hey um sorry for interrupting but I'm just curious, Is Juli something for short?"

"It actually is! It's short for Julianna."

"Well, that's a very beautiful name!"

She blushed. I found her so attractive. I wonder if anyone else had a crush on her. Yes, I have to admit, I'm getting a crush on her. As I was thinking about her she said, "So that's all of it. I also have a question for you."

"Ask away!",I cringed while saying that.

"Would you like to....sit with me and my friends for lunch every day?"

I was happy! "Of course! But do you mind if my cousins sit with us? They aren't weird but they just have a hard time making friends." "Of course they can! It doesn't bother me at all!"

Welp looks like I'm gonna be sitting with my crush for the rest of the school year!

Juli Baker's POV:

The next day of school arrived and I don't know why but I was excited. Maybe it was because of Jayce. I'm starting to get feelings for him. But I also feel bad because I know that Bryce has a crush on me and he was my childhood crush after all. Keyword: WAS. I just don't like him like that anymore. I realized how much of a jerk he was to me. Sure I did some pretty weird stuff like...sniffing him. BUT that's doesn't give him the right to be a complete jerk to me.

Remember when Bryce waited for Sherry Stalls and I got mad. Well, it's reversed now. When Bryce tried to talk to me, Jayce ran up to me and we walked off together. You should've seen Bryce's face. Call me a jerk too but he's always been a jerk to me. Why should I keep on being nice to him?

Bryce Loski's POV:

When I got to school, I saw Juli. So I walked up to her. But then Jayce cut me off and they just started talking together as they walked off. And I was furious! I wanted to punch Jayce so hard right now! But I knew I couldn't. 1. Because I can get suspended. 2.Because I'd hurt Juli's feelings. And I didn't want that.

When lunchtime came, I saw Juli, Jayce, and these 2 other people. I didn't recognize them. But I did notice that they were twins. And they were very identical. "Hey, guys I wanted to introduce you to some of my new friends. This is Jayce!" "Hey", Jayce said. "And these are his twin cousins Marie and Miles." "Hello!",Marie said. Her voice was high pitched but not extremely. Like a cartoon character, I guess.

"Hi!",Miles told us. Miles's voice was average. Not too high or not too low.

They all sat down and Juli sat next to me....but she also sat next to Jayce. I saw that Marie was pretty close to Dana. Did they know each other or something? They were talking like crazy with each other.

This was weird for me.

Me, Dave and Miles were all talking. Then Juli asked me, "Hey Bryce, I was thinking all of us could go to the mall and hang out if you guys wanted?" "Of course I'd love to go with you!" As I was talking to Juli, I noticed that Jayce was giving me the stink eye. I just rolled my eyes at him and I continued to talk to Juli.
