One Year Later:

Juli Baker's POV:
          "Guys guess what!" Mark told us.

          "Huh?" Mona said licking the Cheeto dust off her fingers and drinking her Arizona.

          Mark looked disgusted, "You're disgusting."

          "Yeah, I know. Is that your news for the day because it's old ass news." Mona rolled her eyes.

          "No, that's not my news. But there's a new kid! He's a boy too. He can be all yours Juli."

          "No, I'm good. I still like someone else." I know it's weird, considering I'm 15 and haven't seen Bryce in 2 years but I just feel like he's always by my side. No matter what.

          "Juli, you need to get over him. You make it sound like you're in denial. I don't wanna see your heart get crushed."

          "It won't. Don't worry about me. Anyways why don't you go talk to him Mark?"

          "Me? Oh no. I just can't. He's probably homophobic. He won't like me."

          "You won't know until you ask." Mona pushed Mark towards the new kid.

Mark Simmons POV: (btw this is probably a one time pov.)

          I flipped Mona off as she gave me 2 thumbs up. What a bitch. That's why I love her so much. As I walked toward the new kid, I was shaking. I didn't know how to feel. Just be confident how you always are Mark.

          "Hey, you're the new kid right?"

          "Yup that's me." He told me looking up from his book. I pulled myself up and sat down next to him.

          "What's your name New kid?

          "Danny. Just Danny."

          "Nice name. I'm Mark." I told him while holding my hand for a handshake. He shook my hand.

          "So Danny, would you like to hand out this weekend?"

          "Yeah. I'd like that." He smiled at me with his white teeth. I started blushing.

          "Great. Um, meet me at Downtown Chicago in front of the Ice Cream Parlor around 5 p.m." I told him waving goodbye and walking towards Mona and Juli.

Juli Baker's POV:

         "So what happened lover boy?" I asked.

         "Oh nothing. Just that we're going to hang out this Saturday."

          "SHUT UP! YOU'RE KIDDING RIGHT?" Mona screamed.

          "Nope. I'm not."

          "Well, in that case, you and Juli are gonna come over to my house and we're are going to dress you up!"

          "I'm so excited! This is going to be so much fun!" I said.
