The Question

Bryce Loski's POV:

After yesterday's incident, I wanted to win back Juli. So I was gonna ask her out tomorrow. I wanna do it tomorrow because she's going to Jayce's house later today. Also because I don't wanna do on the day we had school. I didn't know where to take her though. So I asked Dana for advice.

"Hey, Dana! I needed to ask you something." "Sure, What's up?"

"Well I wanted to ask out Juli tomorrow but I don't know where."

"Wait really! You should definitely take her to the park! Go on the swings, have a picnic then
play soccer or something! If someone did that for me, I would swoon for them in a heartbeat."

"That's actually a great idea Dana! Thanks for the advice!"

"No problem! Good Luck for tomorrow."

"Thanks!"

Juli Baker's POV:

We were in Ms.Becerra's class and I noticed that Bryce was acting weird. Ms.Becerra said we had to choose a partner and he asked if he can work alone. She said do whatever he pleases and he looked so focused on his classwork. Which I found a little weird. I chose to be partners with Jayce cause he was the only other person I knew in class.

"Ok so when we get to my house we'll work on the homework we have for today and when we're done we can hang out for a little bit.", Jayce told me.

"Ok! What do you wanna do when we finish our homework?"

"We can play Monopoly if you want?"

"Sure!" "Also is it possible if we can hang out next weekend. I'm a little busy this weekend.", Jayce asked me.

"Um, I don't know. Maybe but I'm not for sure. I'll let you know." "Oh, okay!"

I and Jayce rode our bikes to his house. He lived in a different neighborhood than mine and Bryce's neighborhood. It was closer to the school.

When we got there, his mom was in the living room, reading a book while drinking a glass of wine and his sister was there on the dining table doing her homework. She looked about 9 or 10.

"Hello, Darling! I'm Jayce's Mother!"

"Hello, Ms.Morales!"

"Please call me Donna!" "And I'm his little sister! My name is Gennifer! My name starts with a G, not a J, remember that! You can also call me Genny!"

I noticed she was very cocky. But I liked her! "Hey, Genny! My name is Julianna. You can call me Juli though. It's a pleasure meeting you both!"

"Why thank you!", they both told me. I noticed they looked exactly alike and acted the same too.

"Ok guys time to wrap this up. We got homework to do. We'll be in my room.", Jayce interrupted.

We walked to his room and got our stuff out. "You never told me you had a sister." "Oh sorry. She didn't come to Open House because she was staying with her friends for a little bit." "Oh, that makes sense. How old is she?"

"She's nine. But she says prefers to say nine and a half. It makes her feel more cooler if that makes sense?"

"You know what I figured she was around 9." "Really?" "Yup. We should start our homework." "Sure thing!"

Bryce Loski's POV:

Today was the day I was going to ask out Juli! I decided to make us ham sandwiches. We were gonna have kool-aid and for dessert, cookies.

I made sure to bring a soccer ball and it was about the sun was about to set. I walked my bike over to Juli's house with the picnic basket, a soccer ball and my bike.
I knocked on the door and saw Juli. "Hey Juli, Do you mind if we go to the park today? I have food for us to eat."

"Ok! I have to go ask my mom real quick though."

"Sure thing!"

She went to go ask her mom and came out with a skateboard. "You know how to skateboard?" "Oh! Yeah. My brothers taught me. They bought me one so we can all skate together sometimes. It also doesn't really make my feet hurt as much as riding a bike."

"Nice. You ready to go?"

"Yup, all set." Then we rode and skated to the park.
