The group made a huge sigh when they finally got to the next city. It was exhausting for pretty much everybody. They all sat down randomly and looked at each other, except Zalán who was looking into the book for info about the city and the people.
-I'm.......tired now. Zalán can we rest?
Maraphima huffed as she shifted her view towards Zalán.
-Yeah, we just have to find a spot where we can rest for a bit.

Valentino suddenly hopped up from the ground, despite being tired.
-We can go ask Echidna to let us stay over!
Maraphima and Zalán stood confused over who this Echidna really was, Zalán knew that they mentioned her before and thought she was another one of The Emperor's children.
-Echidna? That whore's so selfish, she always finds something wrong with us. Can't we just skip her?
Valerie whined on the ground as a child.
-No Valerie. I know she might be egotistical sometimes but we still need her. She's very good at detecting danger!
Valentino suddenly sounded very serious and started talking like an adult, who knew what they were doing.

Zalán looked up from his book at Valentino.
-What type of demon is she?
-Oh, she's an envy demon.
-Mhm...
Zalán looked back down into the book.
-Who's the most powerful Envy demon, and what powers do Envy demons have?
The book then flipped back to one particular page.

"Envy demons"

"ℑ𝔫𝔳𝔦𝔡𝔦𝔞 𝔇𝔞𝔢𝔪𝔬𝔫𝔲𝔪, as the Latin name defines is the weakest out of the 6 clans of demons. Despite being a weak clan for the demon realm, they are in no way weak to mortals. They have the power to grow their victims to of course envy the other. They can easily lure mortals to their trap, but well not as easy as trust demons. Envy demons have a harder time disguising themselves to blend in with humans. As for demons, they can make others follow their orders with just a blank stare in the eyes. Envy demons are also very pretty, which follows with their name, demons can envy their looks. Such demons are similar to "Greed" demons, being in love with anything expensive...

"The most powerful known Envy demon in The Empire is called Echidna. A stubborn young woman who is obsessed with Ancient Egyptian artifacts and cats. Very selfish and hard to approach. However, she isn't really into killing people. She just wants fame and money"

After reading Zalán closed the book he stood up and helped Maraphima and Valerie up.
-Is she nearby?
-Yeah, not really far.
Valentino walked up to Zalán and grabbed the book out of his hands to look into it. Zalán didn't like this at all and tried reaching for the book but since Valentino was taller he couldn't reach it.
-Hey! I didn't say you could take it!
-Mhm yeah sure.~ Why do you even need this book? We know more about this place than this stupid book does!
As Valentino said that the book suddenly shot out a bright light right at Valentino.
-AGH!! FUCK-
He dropped the book as he shed his eyes and his skin.
-THAT FUCKING BURNT MY SKIN!
Everyone stood shook about this for a bit. Zalán picked up the book and put it away.
-This is what happens when you insult something more intelligent than you.
-BUT MY BROTHER IS SMARTER THAN ME AND HE DOESN'T JUST GO LASER BEAM ON ME...GAH--

Valerie ran up to Valentino and tried to get his hands off his face.
-Stop complaining ya' dummy! It will go away eventually!
-I think we should go already! We're wasting time!
Maraphima stepped up a bit and spoke after being quiet for a while.
Zalán nodded and grabbed her hand waiting for the other 2.
-Hm. Touche.
Valerie grabbed Valentino's hand and went along with Zalán and Maraphima.
