Past
"I MISS HER," His vermilion eyes stared softly at the clouds. The sky painted a red-orange whereas the Sun said their goodbyes. He loved the sun. A soft smile rested on his lips as he found the first star of the night. He loved the sun, not only because it was so bright and beautiful. He loved the sun because it as well remembered him of her. Yet, when it turned dark and night made it approve, he still loved the stars. Since the sun was also a star. So, there he laid in the green grass of the field, enjoying the relaxed silence.
And when the fresh wind passed, the woman clothed in pure white appeared. Standing next to his laying figure, examining the fading clouds and the settling sun. "On which choice have you settled?" She asked him calmly as her dark hair swayed in the wind.
His eyes sparkled with admiration as his thoughts wandered. However, it didn't take him long to respond to the woman clothed in white. A smile creased his lips as his thoughts wandered to the reason of his life.
"I see," the woman spoke, never letting the calmness go away, "I'll let them know about your choice, enjoy your evening." Not giving the young boy a chance to say goodbye and wish her a good evening, the woman vanished into thin air.
He would have loved to stay longer. To stay longer to look at the stars and the enormous moon but he couldn't. He had responsibilities to take care of after all. He huffed a breath, no time to slack of now, he remembered himself. This was after all the path he had chosen to go.
The night was illuminated by the light of the moon. Shadows were cast in alleyways as he jumped from roof to roof on the way to see his life source. Having finally finished his daily draining responsibilities. The town was filled with life. The lights the big city gave of, the loud car noises that were heard in the distances, and the raindrops which danced on the concrete that gave the city streets a calming touch. In the distance, he could hear the faint noise of a pub being chatty loud and its music with the cheers of people.
Once he stopped on a rooftop, a shaky breath left his lungs and a smile cast its way towards his lips. His feet collided with the pavement, sending a jolt of pain through his form that was stood in a crouched position. He started to run through sketchy alleyways, his lungs nearly giving out but not once stopping him from running. The boy with the red flaming eyes reached the crowded streets. People crossing the streets, cars honking, and the bright lights of the buildings blinded his eye.
He didn't quite like the busy part of the city, may it be because of the many people wandering the streets, or because of the drunk people wandering the dark alleyway. Why she lived in this place of the town was a riddle for him.
His feet took him to a nearby park. Big trees that reached the sky looked beautiful in the nighttime. He walked down the peddled road in search of his sun. He couldn't suppress the smile growing on his handsome face once he spotted her on a nearby swing.
