 "I HATE IT

"I HATE IT. I HATE IT. I HATE IT!" Y/n mumbled, her lanky fingers aggressively squeezing the buttons of the pink controller. She, to her terrible luck, was losing a battle Smash Bros. against Hitoshi. The writer of this book would probably lie when saying it was her first time losing. Smash Bros. was one of her least favorite video games because she never could find herself defeating Hitoshi, but it was his round of deciding which game they would play, so she just had to accept the decision of her friend.

"Don't break the controller," Hitoshi warned his friend calmly when she would press the buttons too rough, thought his eyes not once glanced away from the television.

"Fuck this shit. We are playing Mario Kart!" She declared after another round of losing, going back to the main menu and changing the game. Hitoshi grinned at his best friend aka the bad loser and glanced back at the start screen of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Y/n was, like always, playing as Link with his matching master cycle zero bike and Hitoshi decides to play as Luigi with the gold kart. Y/n was determined to win the lightning cup and to destroy her best friend.

The race was exhaustion and nerve-wracking. Rainbow Boulevard was probably the most difficult road. Hitoshi would fall from it, Y/n would laugh and then fall herself. Hitoshi, the mean friend who he is, would consider throwing Koopa shells at Link, which caused his best friend to scream in frustration. Her payback was to cover Hitoshi's eyes so his sight of the road was limited. He lost control over the gold kart and felt in the never-ending abyss of the galaxy, however, it wasn't never-ending like the real galaxy. After a while he was back on the road, sadly for him, he hadn't had a chance to win anymore. The main character of this dumb story had already finished the third round and won the lightning cup.

"Now I can die peacefully," she stated in a joking way. "Wanna play some Minecraft?"

"No." Hitoshi looked grumpily at his friend, clearly remembering the events of their last game of Minecraft.

"Oi, why?!" Her e/c eyes wide in confusion, her lips forming into a pout.

"Because you always kill my dog, that's why!" The purple-haired boy exclaimed, shocked that she wasn't aware of her crime. For a moment they sat in silence, before Y/n spoke up, dramatically clutching her heart. "I swear on my dumb life that I will stop, and you are allowed to kill my dog."

Hitoshi thought about it, before his lips formed into a grin. "Deal."

So Y/n took her switch out of her backpack and Hitoshi took his one from the charger station, and they started playing Minecraft not being aware of the upcoming pain one of them would suffer from.

"AH! SHIT SHIT SHIT. HELP ME TOSHI! THE CREEPER JUST WON'T STOP FOLLOWING ME!"

"Help yourself." The said boy mumbled disinterestedly at his friend's problem.

"Why are you so mean, 'Toshi-chan~"
