"WHERE THE HELL IS HE?" she waited patiently for her friend. If he wouldn't show up in the next fifteen minutes, they would be late for their first homeroom lesson. She was standing before the huge school, excitement building up in her, perhaps of her first high school day, but mainly it was just her anxiety that wouldn't leave her alone.
Honestly, she wasn't surprised when she got her acceptance letter telling her, she was now a part of the general studies. A small part of her knew that she would be accepted and she was happy that she got into the general studies course. Her friend, however, wasn't happy about being sorted into the general studies. She couldn't blame him. The entrance exam was bullshit in her eyes, well not the writing exam where she scored the full score, but the practical exam. The practical exam was shit because how was someone like Hitoshi, with a quirk that only showed affect at living people, supposed to win against some robots?
She thought he deserved to be in the hero course, but on the other hand, she was happy that he also could score some rescue points, and do good at the writing exam. Yet the immortal girl was more than happy to be again in a class with her beloved 'Toshi-chan.
So now, a month after the exams, she was sitting on a bench before the huge school, waiting for her indigo-haired friend. She sat there peacefully and observed the other students. Observing humans was something she found herself doing often, she hadn't the slightest idea why she liked to observe them. She just did. And it was sometimes cruel but also fascinating to gaze at the numerous emotions people revealed.
Last month, around an hour before the exam, she was waiting for Hitoshi and surprise, surprise, she was observing people. Just as she thought that every single person that passed her, was a complete bore. An optimistic green-haired boy walked past her, "I'm not gonna let anyone get in my way!" but then he fell over his feet, "I'm a failure, after all this hard work-"
'Big. Fat. Mood.' the girl thought, drowning the rest he was mumbling out, she was trying her hardest not to break down in laughter because of a broccoli haired boy.
"-umbass! Oi dumbass! You're spacing out again!"
Y/n lost herself in the past memory that she didn't realize that her friend finally showed up.
A scowl formed on her face. "Damn! Finally, you're here! Come let's go!" she grabbed his hand and pulled him toward the giant building. Hitoshi sighed and shook his head at his weird friend, he couldn't understand how she hated middle school but was now so eager to go to high school.
When both finally found their new classroom, Y/n quickly hurried to the back of the classroom to take the seat next to the window. There weren't many students in the class, so Hitoshi took the seat next to Y/n.
"Surprisingly, I am looking forward to this school year," the girl grinned, "maybe we will finally meet some decent people."
Hitoshi snorted, "yeah maybe..."
The class started to fill with more students, and soon the bell rang signaling the start of the lesson the genius was looking forward to. Their homeroom teacher explained to the class that everybody would introduce themselves, talk about some basic things, and then they would be shown around the school.
After everybody introduced themselves, the teacher gave them some time to get to know each other, there while they quickly went to get some club posters. Y/n was sure she wanted to join a school club, but which? She hadn't the slightest of an idea.
She introduced herself to some students (some of them even being nice) and went back to her seat. As she stared through the window, she rose a brow at the class that was outside in the P.E grounds.
'Looks like they're doing some quirk test thingy with their homeroom teacher...' y/n thought observing the students that seemed to be in the hero course. However, she continued to observe the students that were showing their quirks but then she saw him.
'Is that freaking Eraser head?!' She screamed internally at herself. Her favorite hero, since childhood, was a teacher at UA! Oh, how she started to envy the class that they got a so cool hero as a teacher. Y/n quickly ignored the envy feeling and turned to her friend, whose elbow rested on the desk and his head on his hand. She pushed his elbow, his head hitting the desk. "Why did you wake me in such a mean way...?" He mumbled, rubbing his forehead.
"Eraser head is one the P.E grounds! He's a teacher!" Y/n whispered, only for Hitoshi's ears meant to be heard.
"As if I would believe you," he mumbled turning his head away from his friend.
"I just saw him use his quirk! Y'know his hair floated up and his eyes turned red!"
"Yeah, yeah keep telling yourself that," he mumbled, paying more attention to the conversation of two nearby classmates.
"I swear that that, deadass, is Eraser head!" she whisper-shouted, "come here and watch out of the damn window!"
"Yeah, yeah," he mumbled, eventually walking over to the window, his eyes widening in realization, "that's Eraser head!"
"I fucking told you so!"
Just as Hitoshi sat down at his place, the teacher came back to the class. "I will show you guys now around the school, and then we will talk about some clubs you can join, " they said, "let's go."
A smirk pulled at Y/n's lips, as she stood up, and followed her classmates.
'I got a feeling this school year is gonna be fun'
