THE COLD lonely room was engulfed in pure darkness, the only light that gave the room life was a small gap from the door. A girl laid motionless on the bed, staring at the ceiling. Grey covers wrapped around the young girl in a protective cocoon. She rubbed her dull eyes. Her body screaming at her to finally go to sleep, but she ignored the pledge. She hadn't left her room for two days, her stomach growled loudly. It was the only thing that filled the endless silence.
It was another of these days.
Another of these sleepless days.
The white alarm clock read 07:38 am she had pulled an all-nighter again. She probably was going to be late for school, it wasn't something new after all. It was another of these days, where she couldn't find the energy to get up. School or a other word might be hell. The girl was sure that hell was a more fitting name, although she was convinced that hell was a better place than school. Her thoughts made a 360 turn.

Her opinion was that hate was pointless. Life was too short for hate, but she had every right to hate them and it. Today, was another of these days where she hated them, and they hated her. She had overwhelming thoughts again, which caused her not to sleep. Her lids felt heavy and were about to shut. The clock now said, 08:11 am. Several 'dings' can be heard as the room was engulfed in light. The bright phone screen blinded her eyes, she took the phone and turned down the brightness.

It was another of these days where she had lied to him, and he? He knew. He knew that she was lying to him and it hurt him. They were best friends supposed not to lie to each other but still, she did.
And the last time she was at the doctor's? Two days ago because it happened again, he wouldn't remember the event that accrued. Nobody would.
Honestly, her parents didn't care if she went to school anymore. They tried several times to talk to their oldest child, unsuccessful. Every time the topic school was brought up, she would roll her eyes and walk out of the room. And, now she was curled into a cocoon trying to sleep.
It was another of these days, she wanted someone to remember. It was another of these days, where she didn't want to feel this pain anymore.
