The first night in the mental hospital was weird to say at least. Y/n couldn't sleep but that was nothing new. Their insomnia has been terrorizing her for years.

The first day only consisted of explaining all the rules to her and showing her around. She was not allowed to have any devices like her phone or switch with her. Pens, except for crayons, were also a strict taboo until she was no longer considered to be suicidal. She is allowed to go outside in the gardens but only if a supervisor is outside.

Tomorrow would be her first therapy day. At first, she will start with individual therapy and after a week group therapy will start.

And after a while of more loud thoughts, the abyss finally welcomed her with open arms. Embracing her warm figure with the love it held for her.

_________

Shiro Hikari had sensed a familiar presence in the hospital. Her shimmering long white hair glowed, oh-so-beautifully, in the unlit night as her silver angel-like eyes perceived the lies and truths of humankind.

Shiro's graceful steps echoed through the halls of the hospital for the sick. And after the aura had reached its peek, Shiro stood before the room of Shikatsu Y/n. Y/n.

There is something awfully wrong with this individual. The aura, which had glowed once beautiful white, has been tainted with the darkness of the abyss, making it seem darker than the night. And with every passing day, it only will turn darker and darker until the abyss has completely swallowed them up.

Yes, then she remembered. They have met many moons and suns ago in a time before quirks managed to manifest.

So when the birds began to chirp and the morning greeted the world, she sat in her office waiting patiently for her first client of the day to come in.

She stirred her black tea which was mixed with milk gracefully while reading though the description of her current patient.

'Only sixteen years old.' She thought. Her thoughts got interrupted by a sudden knock on her door. 'It must be the young Y/n' Hikari thought.

"Yes?"

Splatter of rain could be heard on the window as Y/n entered the cozy office. Greetings being passed as they sat opposite each other.

There were countless of questions and answers being thrown around the cozy enclosure of the room. The rain eventually had stopped, letting the two individuals know how long they actually have been talking.

"There's something more to this all, isn't there?"

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."

"Hmm... how about I tell you a secret in return?" Hikari softly smiled, her white hair gracefully falling over her shoulders. "You could say that my quirk allows me to see if someone is lying."

"Yeah, sure."

"I can see though all the truths and lies of humankind, so if you don't believe me. Then let's test it out." She hummed out in amusement. Closing her silver eyes, she began to speak again. "Tell me something and I'll tell you whether it is a lie or the truth."

Y/n continplaited for a while but then just settled to go with it. "I failed my last math exam."

"That's a lie." Hikari smiled and opened her eyes again.

"Yes, the truth is that I passed with the full score and managed to get five extra points." They hummed out in amusement. "You managed to get one thing right, but that doesn't make me believe you just yet."

"Well, then tell me one more thing and I'll convince you." She, once again, closed her eyes.

"I'm stuck in an endless loop of suicide," Y/n said with a straight face. Without even thinking about it, she finally has said the words that have been plaguing her since her childhood.

Hikari's face merged into a confused gaze. "I can sense that you're telling the truth, yet I don't know what you mean and how that could be possible."

Y/n face scrunched up in confusion. I don't know either how it is possible, I think have said too much.

Y/n's glance fell onto the clock on the therapist's desk. An hour has passed since the beginning of the meeting.

"It seems our time is up." Y/n said, bowing in the progress to show her therapist respect, "Thank you for your time, Hikari-Sensei. I look forward to our next meeting."
