"SLEEP! WHAT THE HELL?!" The tiredness clenches onto her like wet clothes on a rainy day. Her exhausted eyes feel heavy. Her heartbeat as quickly as lightning. She desperately wished to sleep but she couldn't seem to. It's 4:13 am. Three hours left till the alarm she has grown to hate went off.

A part of her wants to fall into the dark abyss, another part, though, can't seem to. She turns around in her bed, comfortable laying on her side, facing the window whose dark curtains stare right back at her.

She's being watched.

She blinked and the moonlight shone now brightly into her room. Strange, hadn't the curtains been closed just now? She might as well was hallucinating again. It always was like that. She wouldn't sleep for days and then she would see the strangest things.

This time she wasn't hallucinating, she was sure there was someone standing in the corner watching her every movement. This was not the first time she had felt this strange presence. Strangely, this feeling of being watched only occurred once every full moon.

Suffering from Insomnia was one thing but feeling this incredible bizarre gaze upon herself, was nerve-wracking. Anxiety began to build up within her, giving rise to the feel of carving comfort. She doesn't dare to move a muscle, even worse, she physically no longer can move a muscle. What if, it's one of these monsters mom has told me about..?

Always being brave, strong, and determined.  Not once did she appeared to be a scaredy-cat. Never showing fear and concern in the public eye, not even before her soulmate. Yet she was frightened to her dear life by a mere fake presence made up by her mind.

Why did dad lie to me and tell me those monsters were fake...?

This endless stress went on for more than two hours and as the presence of her sleep-paralyze demon disappeared, the weight on her shoulders was lifted and thrown away seven feet underground. Why was she scared in the first place?

Even if this beast or whatever it was, wanted to kill her, she once again would wake up in the satisfying comfort of her bed. She relaxed at the thought that they couldn't harm her, she just would wake up again. She closed her eyes and was about to fall into the comfortable abyss of sleep when the familiar tone of the alarm, she had set on her phone, got off.

"Fuck"

Y/n entered the classroom, making her way across the room to her assigned set. Her purple-haired friend was already seated at his usual desk, he raised a brow at her sloppy movements. "What's wrong?"
