Not even ten minutes later, the three girls had arrived at their meeting place, the faded brown sofa which sat upon the skip. With Nas' having a worried look on her face and Missy rather giddy, Elle really didn't know what was going to come out from their mouths.

"Whatever you've called me here for, it better be exciting." Elle said, as she was first to climb up on the skip to get to the sofa. "I stood up my dad's good cooking for this."

"All of this and we didn't get a blimmin' bottle of cider to share." Missy huffed, with the other two girls giving her disapproving looks. "Don't look at me like that just cause you've cut down because you don't want to end up an alcoholic like your dad."

"Ex, recovered." The younger Stewart sibling darted a look at Missy. Before Missy could say anything else, Nas had nudged her elbow to get her attention.

"Missy, enough. I don't think any of us are in the right place to judge that."

"Anyway, why are we here?" Elle turned to the two girls to get an answer from either of them.

"Nas' is getting an arranged marriage, all planned by her dad." Missy burst out, clapping her hands. "Me and you will get to be bridesmaids!"

"Your joking?" Elle's jaw hung open wide. "What did your mum say to that?"

"Over her dead body and then dad just stormed out and here I am." Nas sighed, fidgeting with her thumbs. "I really don't want this."

"Was the guy at least fit?" The blonde haired girl's eyes widened more in excitement. "Don't lie to us!"

"Missy!"

"He were wearing loafers!" Nas exclaimed, with the two girls gasping then giggling. "But seriously, I don't want to be married off."

"Your mum won't let it happen, Mrs P will put up a fight." Elle said softly, giving her a reassuring smile. "Try not to worry about it, yeah?"

"Oh my god! Unless he kidnaps you." Missy added onto the end, which Nas glared at her for.

"You're not helping." Elle nudged the girl beside her. "How about we go down the chip shop? I don't know about you two but I'm starving."

"Me too!" Nas replied, with a bit more energy in her.

"It'll beat my nana's cooking for sure." Missy giggled, as the girl's climbed down from the skip and trotted off down the road together.
