"Cory, if I ask you something, promise you'll answer it honestly?" Were the first words to fall out of Elle's mouth as she and Cory were sat on the wall in the school grounds at break. "You know what, forget it." She said hesitantly.

"You know you can tell me anything, what is it?" Cory said, putting his arm around her in reassurance. Although he was pretty nervous with what she had to ask, no way would she be having doubts about their relationship in the first day.

"I haven't done nothing wrong, like nothing bad?" She sighed, looking up at the taller boy. "Like I haven't upset you or anyone you know?"

"Does it look like I'm in a huff with you? Don't be so stupid." He shook his head, before giving her a concerned look. "Why'd you ask that anyway?"

"Maybe I'm just being stupid but I feel like I've upset Riz, he didn't exactly seem too chuffed when I came home last night." Elle said, still not working out if it was really that deep or not. "Especially when I told him about us."

"Probably something going on at home, I couldn't really blame him having to live with Alya." The older boy sniggered, also getting a laugh out of the blonde. "Your probably just overthinking but I can have a word with him at rugby if that makes you feel any better."

"If you wouldn't mind, thanks." His girlfriend gave him a faint smile, now resting her head on his shoulder. "How are you feeling about your rugby? Are they actually taking it serious?"

"Dead serious." He stated, rolling his eyes at just the thought of the big game after school. "About that, I was going to ask if you wanted to come along and watch us? Especially the best player out there." Was said in a cocky tone, with a wide grin emerging on his face.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world, even if watching a bunch of boys wrestle each other over a ball isn't my idea of fun." Elle giggled, before the pair were broken apart by the presence of her brother. "How can we help?"

"Riz is in a right huff so I thought I'd come and annoy you two." Jacob said, sitting in between the pair of them. "Probably stressed out about the game, he's not been the same since last night."

"Yeah, probably." Elle said, trying to reassure herself. "Maybe he'll lighten up after the match, eh?"

"I hope your coming to watch your big brother, otherwise known as the best on there." Her brother chuckled, also displaying a cocky smirk on his face.

"What is this now? Survival of the fittest or something?" The blonde haired girl laughed, shaking her head at the pair of them.

"Someone listens too much in Biology." Jacob said, rolling his eyes.
