"It's great to see you four finally get along for once." Carla chimed over the dining table. "And it's lovely to meet you too, Cory."

"You as well." Cory said in reply, giving the older women an awkward smile. "You certainly cook up a lovely meal, too."

"You're a lovely lad and our Ells is very lucky to have you." Neil spoke up, only making the situation even more awkward. "You two lads have got sone learning to do." He said, referring to Jacob and Tyler.

"For sure." Jacob said sarcastically before placing his knife and fork upon his empty plate. "That was lovely but I should be going now, I'm meeting Riz soon."

"Well, before you go, we better announce our news." The dad of the twins said, with a widening grin upon his and his girlfriend's faces. "Do you want to tell them or will I?"

"I will." The older women stated, with the smile not leaving her face anytime soon. "Neil and I have gotten engaged, which means we're going to get married!"

"I knew this whole dinner thing was too good to be true. We've hardly known her five minutes and now you want us to call her mum." Elle hissed, with it being clear that the four teenagers had near enough the same reaction to the news.

"You're unbelievable, that's what you are." Jacob was the next to speak up.

"That blonde bimbos for step siblings, I don't think so." Gabby finally shot, slightly offending the twins.

"You lot just need to calm down and give it all a chance." Carla tried her hardest to reassure them, although it was going to take a lot more than reassurance to win them round.

"Sod it, I'm out." Elle said as she got up off her seat to walk away. "Enjoy the bedroom to yourself, Gabby."

"Where are you going? You just can't walk off like that." Her dad called, as Cory trailed behind Elle.

"She's coming to live with me." Cory had the final word, slamming the kitchen door behind the couple.

"Your dad and Jordan seriously don't mind me staying a bit? I don't want to be any hassle to you lot." Elle sighed, as the couple stood round in the school grounds.

Instead of replying to her, Cory marched up yo Jordan with a half crumpled envelope in his hand. He displayed a not so happy look on his face.

"Jordan, you think I'm gonna ruin my life for a two minute grope? You're dumber than you look, kid." He spat, Elle following in tail to try and make nothing out of this something.

"It's alright, he doesn't need you anyway, neither does she." Jordan kept his head low, purposely knocking into his brother on his way past.

"Oh, yeah. Because your such a role model, aren't you?" Cory said, rolling his eyes at his younger brother. "Getting banged up over Christmas, doing a dealer's dirty work?"

"And you two are the perfect couple, she thinks your mad in love with her when in reality you'd get with anything with a pulse." The younger Wilson brother fought back.

"Will you two just pack it in?" Elle raised her voice over the two boys, who obviously didn't listen to her. "At this point I'd rather be flippin homeless than live with you two."

"You know, you're just like dad." The older Wilson brother spat back. "That's what you are, just like dad."

With enough being enough, Jordan couldn't take it no more and instead launched a punch to his older brother. This then resulting into a full blown scrap between the brothers.

"How's it going? Jacob told me about last nights events at the dinner thing." Riz asked, leaning on the wall outside their next class together, in which he was genuinely concerned for the girl.

"I'll be fine." She shrugged it off. "Gabby's got my room and I've moved in with Cory's lot, although I am beginning to regret it."

"I could think of worse places to live with than the Wilson's." The boy light heartedly chuckled. "You know, you're welcome round mine anytime, if you feel like you need to get away from anything." He said with a soft smile.

"Thanks, Riz." Elle replied, returning the smile. "I may just have to take you up on the offer one of these days."

"What you two talking about?" Naveed said, joining the pair and sparing the girl an awkward smile. "Cory?"

"Everyone's favourite subject." The blonde haired girl half smiled back at him, before they were interrupted by Candice.

"Did Jordan give Cory the invite to his son's christening?" The younger girl said, stopping right in front of Elle. "You're more than welcome to come a long too."

"I didn't know Cory was a dad." Naveed said, standing their deep in his own thoughts.

"It's fine, neither does Jamie." Elle nodded her head in reply. "I'll have a talk with him later on if that's any reassurance." She said, turning back around to face the girl.

"Thanks." Candice said, half smiling. "It really does mean a lot to us."

"So, are you gonna go to that christening?" Riz questioned as soon as Candice had stepped away from them.

"Jamie's nowt to do with me." The blonde haired girl shrugged. "As for Cory, I don't really know how he feels."

"Talk of the devil." Riz knocked the smaller girl's shoulder to get her attention, causing her to change the topic of conversation.

"What you lot talking about?" Cory asked,
cocking his head to the side.

"The christening." Naveed happily splurged out, receiving a disappointing look from Cory's girlfriend who made it clear to not let slip just yet.

"Who's christening?"

"Nothing, nowt to do with us." Elle said, trying to dig her way out of it. "Come here, I've missed you!" The girl splurged out in an attempt to distract him even more, by sharing a kiss in the middle of the corridor. This receiving the same look if disappointment that she had previously shared with Naveed.

"Get a room, love birds." Mr Hyatt scoffed as he stepped in front of the pair to unlock his classroom door.
