"A little birdy told me that you've got a date round the Wilson household." Jacob stood in the doorway of his sister's room, as he watched her brush her freshly curled locks out. "I didn't think you two were ever that serious, never mind meeting the family already."

"Neither did I, apparently it were all his dad's idea. Must mean Cory's pretty serious this time." Elle shrugged before spraying the hairspray through her hair, making Jacob choke on it. "You know, I'm actually pretty nervous."

"It's only the Wilson's you're going to, not to see the bloody Queen." The older boy chuckled, fanning the left over bits of hairspray out of his direction. "Despite everything, Cory's always been mad for you. You'll be just fine."

"Just wanted to make a good impression but you're right." She said, nodding her head in agreement with her brother. "What you doing with the house to yourself then? Inviting a girl over?" She joked, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Me and Riz were just gonna have a takeout and have a few games of FIFA, nout exciting." Jacob explained his not so exciting plans for the night. "Maybe wish I had thrown a party or something instead now." He chuckled.

"Maybe I am glad I'm going over there, wouldn't want to get in your way of your shenanigans." The youngest of the twins giggled as she put on her denim jacket on top of her outfit. "Wish me luck for this, I'm going to bloody need it."

"You'll be fine, you've met Kevin before." He said, reassuring his little sister. "If he doesn't like you then why should you care? End of the day, it's Cory your after, not his dad." As the pair laughed together.

"I guess you do have a fair point." Elle nodded, taking in what her brother had just advised her. "Better go now before they think I've stood them up again."

"Well go and enjoy yourself, no making an arse of yourself!" Jacob laughed, before greeting her a goodbye. "You better tell me everything when you get back."

"We'd thought you'd bailed on us again!" Kevin Wilson was first to greet Elle at the door who let out a nervous laugh, with the older man stepping aside to let her in. "I'm just kidding, love. The food will be ready any minute so go on through."

"Thank you, Mr Wilson." The girl replied politely as she walked through to the kitchen to find both Cory and Jordan waiting at the dining table. The older of the two brothers now getting up to greet the girl with a hug.

"It's Kevin to you." The dad smiled, breaking the awkward tension between the pair. "You've got yourself a girl with good manners, Cory."

"And one that can't tell the time, she's only a day late." Jordan chirped in , receiving glares from both of the teenagers. "What? I were just saying what you were all thinking."
