CHAPTER 32

Eli's POV

Gio guided me out of the room they called 'family room'.

"So, what do you usually do, Gio?" I asked him, breaking the silence.

"I have schedules to follow, Lux. King Lucas cleared my schedule today, as you have heard."

We walked side by side. I carefully listened to him while we were walking up the stairs.

"As you see, our names aren't out in the public. I'm known as Prince Aris, and you will be known as Princess Lea."

He faced a door, then the guards automatically opened it. It was a balcony.

"This is the top floor's balcony." He held on my waist and pulled me with him, making me see a great view of the place. "Have a look at your country, Lux. Welcome to Chaiovia, Princess Lea."

I stepped closer to the railing and tried to view it more. I saw a beautiful place and landscape.

"Wow," I said in amazement.

I looked around, and one place caught my attention. It was a garden. There was a maze in the middle, and in the middle of the maze was a gazebo. At the sides of the maze was a field of flowers, and I think they were tulips of different colors. There are also trees around it. And it has tall bushes, taller than adult human size, cut into rectangles that surrounds the whole garden.

"What's that place?" I asked Gio.

"That's for you to ask the king," he said. "Let's go."

He guided me in. I noticed the guards bow, I shrugged it even though it is still weird for me. Gio showed me around the palace, we went into different rooms, halls, and places. He suddenly stopped in front of a door.

"This is the music room." He opened it.

The room was spacious. It was full of different musical instruments. The grand piano caught my attention. I walked in and sat on the piano bench. I started playing the melody of the song "Edelweiss".

Then I felt Gio sat on my left and started playing the background of the song. I smiled hearing the harmony of our playing. As the song ends, Gio stood up from playing so I took over playing the melody and background.

I looked over my left shoulder while still playing. I saw him open a violin case. He took out the violin, and walked back to my side. The first song finished so I played the intro of "My Favorite Things" from the movie "The Sound of Music". I saw Gio smirk.

I played the intro twice, then Gio entered. We were lost in the moment. We drowned in the music until it ended. We heard a clap so we looked back and saw our family smiling at us.

"Nice playing my grand children," grandfather said.

Gio and I smiled at them.

"Can you play one more?" grandmother requested.

I looked at Gio, and whispered.

"La Valse de L'amour."

He nodded. I pressed the first keys, then he started playing. And with that, we again drowned in the music.

Cassandra's POV

All of us were watching and listening to the junior royals of our family play a song.

"Shall we, my queen?" I heard dad ask mom.

They walked to the middle of the music room and started dancing to the song.
