CHAPTER 34
I looked at the clock inside the room. It was 6 in the evening. I went in the bathroom. It was also spacious and elegant. I took off my clothes and started bathing. I played with the water so I took a little bit longer than usual.
Next, I walked into the closet. It was full of clothes. I looked for a dress in the formal dresses. I walked back and forth until my eyes landed on a mint green satin dress. I took it out. I was checking it out when there was a knock on my closet's door.
"Princess, do you need help?" I heard a familiar voice.
I hesitated for a bit.
"Yes, please," I said loudly.
The door opened, then I saw Yaya Paula. It felt weird when she lowered her head.
"Yaya Paula," I called.
"Don't call me that, princess. Nanny Paula or Paula would do."
I just nodded. She helped me change into the dress I chose. When we went out, I saw Lehan near my vanity. He started fixing my hair.
Gio's POV
I just finished changing into formal attire. I wore a gray three-piece suit and a mint green tie. I also wore my crown that has a gray gem in the middle.
I took my gray cloak and my wallet containing my identification cards and money. The halls were quiet while I was walking. I made my way to my grandparents' room and knocked on their door.
Seconds later, the door opened showing my grandfather.
"Come in, Gio."
I went in and saw then formally dress in their royal outfits. I walked to grandpa and pulled his hand down. He bent down and I whispered in his ear.
"Grandpa, can you let Lux and me slide away later?" I whispered.
He looked at me weirdly.
"Why?"
"I want to show her the city. It's okay if they see her, right? But I'll keep her face unseen as much as possible. Please."
"Bring the guards."
I pouted.
"Can't they just follow secretly, grandpa?"
He ruffled my hair. I fixed my hair up again.
"Sure, grandson. Now, go see Eli. Meet us at door of the palace."
I kissed grandma.
"You look good, by the way, grandma," I commended her.
"Thank you." She kissed my cheek.
I left the room and went back to Lux's room. My mouth parted when I saw her, the moment I opened her room's door. She looks so beautiful. She's already beautiful but she looks stunning.
"Beautiful."
She smiled faintly. I noticed that something is missing. I went in her closet and opened a closet. It was a closet meant for tiaras but for now she only has five. I took her first tiara and put it on her head properly.
"Come on. They're already waiting." I looked at Nanny Paula. "Where's her gray cloak?"
She handed it to me. I folded it and hanged it on my left forearm. Lux held on to my other arm. I guided her out the palace. We rode on the last limo, because there were 4 limousines.
Eli's POV
We stopped in front of a large gate. The garden was fully lit. Grandma and grandpa went out first, they went straight into the garden. Then, mom and dad, Uncle Sky and Aunt Yurissa, then us.
