CHAPTER 39
Eli's POV
I opened my eyes when I heard a knock on the door. He entered. I gave him a disgusted look which he didn't like.
"Hindi ka pa nagtatanda," he said.
"Hurt me all you want, but don't tell me I didn't warn you."
"You really have guts, huh?" he laughed. "We'll see little Eli."
"My name sounded so bad," I whispered loud enough to let him hear it.
"What did you-"
"Sir, here is her dinner," Gregory appeared at the door, carrying a tray of food.
"Siguraduhin mong kakain 'yan." He slammed the door.
He handed me a paper and I wrote on it.
I, Princess Lea Grande of Chaiovia, vowed to make Mr. Gregory Guzman a royal guard of the Royal Palace of Chaiovia. With conditions to:
[a] To successfully help the princess escape;
[b] To help the royals receive justice for the incident;
[c] To not give any information about contract
Any form of betrayal of Mr. Gregory Guzman will lead to execution under the Royal Chaiovian Law.
Signed on the **th day of May 20**, in Baguio City, Philippines, by:
Princess Lea Grande of Chaiovia
Mr. Gregory Guzman
I handed it to him.
"Read it carefully," I said and he did.
I started eating to gain the energy and strength I needed to fight back. He signed it after reading. He gave it to me and I placed it on the side table. I continued eating. After minutes, I finished.
I turned towards the side table and wrote a letter for my parents.
Mom, Dad, I'm safe. I'm okay. I need you to find a way to help me escape. But you have to do it on Saturday lunch time or anytime after that. I love you. – Eli
I read the contract again and signed it. I gave him both.
"Give that to my parents, even the contract."
He nodded and left with the empty food tray. I closed my eyes again. It only took minutes for me to fall asleep.
The next day is another day. I did my morning routine, and change into blue long sleeves and white leggings, after cleaning some of my wounds. I've been wearing leggings so I can move freely if ever he chooses to attack me out of no where, again.
I sat on my bed and closed my eyes.
Cass's POV
"Ma'am, may tao po sa gate. Hinahanap po kayo," I heard Paula call me.
I immediately separated myself from Zavie's hug and stood up.
"Let him in. Who is he?" I asked desparately.
A man in a black suit came in.
"Who are you? Are you one of them? Why are you here?"
He gave me 2 paper. I opened the first one and read a message from my daughter. I cried. I looked at him and asked.
"Why are you helping us?"
He pointed at the other paper. I opened it while he introduced himself.
"I am Gregory Guzman, Adrian Villanueva's right-wing man."
I saw a contract signed by my daughter and him. I was about to doubt it but he signed a contract with an assurance, that if he betrays my daughter, he will die.
"I can't stay longer. Baka maghinala si Boss."
"Here's my number." I gave him my number and he left.
Eli's POV
I knew it. He hurt me again. He made someone hold me back earlier. I managed to break free but he ordered some men hold me.
I fought back but I couldn't fight back to my best strength. If I did and I knew I would win, but I can't escape right now, and he will surely take me again. And who knows, he might do worse.
I have to wait for Saturday, that is tomorrow. They put me back in my room and Gregory treated my wounds. He also gave me pain medications.
"Don't tell my mom."
He tucked me in bed and kissed my forehead. I didn't expect that but it calmed me a bit.
"Ilalabas ka namin dito. Just wait, my princess."
I looked at him.
"I am already under your power. You are my princess."
He cleaned up the first aid kit on the side table and closed the lights before walking out. The pain medication Gregory gave me made me drowsy and fall asleep.
The next day is Saturday. I looked at the clock and it was already late. It was 11:30 AM. I stood up and changed into a white shirt topped with a light blue long-sleeved sweater, and white leggings. I also cleaned and changed some of the dressing of my wounds.
I stared at the shirt I was wearing last night and the beddings as well. There are small spots of my blood. I cleaned up and fixed the room. I took a quick glance at the time and went down.
It was already 12:15 PM. Anytime mom will come and get me. My body was numb from the pain medication I took. I saw him sitting on the sala, browsing his phone.
"So, gising ka na, huh?" he smiled evilly.
I shrugged and turned around.
"Michael!" he shouted.
I felt people going for me so I turned around and blocked a punch. I fought them and went for their pressure points. It only took me 5 minutes to put the first 20 men down. I looked at Gregory who wanted to help but I shook my head. Another 20 men attacked, and that took me another 5 minutes.
I haven't received any punch yet. I stared at him. He was pissed. He ordered 30 men to attack me again. It took me longer to put them down. We heard movements outside, he commanded some of his men to look out. While he did that, I attacked all the 15 men left inside.
He wasn't ready for my sudden move. I took one of the guns and pointed it at him. He stared at me, unbelievingly.
"I warned you. I am not as weak as you know."
"No, you can't do that," he said fearfully.
I stared at him emotionlessly. I kept the gun pointed at him.
"Hindi mo ako kilala, Adrian. I maybe just an 8-year-old child but my life is far different from all of you."
"I am your father!"
