CHAPTER 33
We took a shower and changed into a new pair of clothes, exactly the same as the one we wore earlier. I was surprised when I came out from the dressing room and saw someone holding hair styling equipment.
"This is Lehan, the royal hairstylist," Gio formally introduced the person. "And she is Princess Lea."
I smiled at him and he bowed. I walked towards the seat in front of the mirror, and sat there. He immediately started drying my hair.
"Your hair is beautiful, princess. What hairstyle do you wish?" Lehan asked.
"I want it to be tied in a ponytail."
He tied my hair in a ponytail. He also fixed a little side bangs on my right forehead.
"Thank you," I said as I stood up.
"You're welcome, dear princess."
"Let's go, Lea."
He walked away, and I walked fast to catch up with him. We were both walking formally, and I noticed that every time we pass by a guard or servant, they face our direction and bow or salute.
"Don't mind them, Lux. You'll get used to it," Gio said, while keeping a serious face.
When we reached the dining hall, all eyes were darted to us. We sat on our chairs and started eating. I noticed the king and queen isn't here.
"So, how was fencing, Aris?" Uncle Sky asked.
"We ended up sword fighting and sparring, dad. We might have been still fighting by now, if Coach Elias didn't interrupt us to inform us it's lunch time."
"I'm not surprised, Cass," Uncle Sky said instead.
Mom just chuckled.
"Should I challenge you, little brother?" mom asked teasingly.
I saw Uncle Sky roll his eyes.
"No, thank you, Katherine."
The hall was filled with chuckles for a moment. The adults were talking about things. I just finished my food when I heard Gio speak.
"I'm going to tour Lux around the outside of the palace, if that's okay with Aunt Cassandra?"
"Of course. You can go ahead if you want, we don't mind."
"Come on, Lux."
I kissed mom and dad, and Uncle Sky and Aunt Yurissa's cheeks before walking up to Gio.
"So, what do you want to do, Lux? Horseback riding? Archery? Paintball?"
"I don't know how to ride a horse." I pouted.
Gio chuckled.
"Come on."
He pulled me towards a building. I think it was a horse stable. We met a man inside, checking on the horses.
"Good afternoon, Sir Baner."
The man raised his head surprised, when Gio suddenly spoke.
"Your highness-es," he continued when he saw me.
"Where is Estelle?" my cousin asked.
Sir Baner brought out a black horse from a stall, it was still small. And it's cute? No, beautiful. Gio went near the horse and took the horse's rope from Sir Baner's hand. The horse neighed. Sir Baner saddled Estelle, from what I have heard.
"Thank you," Gio said politely before pulling Estelle.
Gio grabbed my left hand with his right and pulled me along with him. We went to a green field.
