CHAPTER 41

Sky's POV

His expression changed. I snorted and sat down.

"If you would let me choose, I would make you suffer under my power. Furious is an understatement of what I feel," dad said.

He was emotionless but I can read through his emotions.

"Kidnapping? She's my daughter!" Adrian shouted.

Dad stood up and gave him a hard blow in his face.

"No father ever harms his own child. Besides, her name is Luxandra Elexse Amor ARELLANO-Grande."

"I'm his biological father."

"She is an Arellano," dad emphasized.

I felt someone walk behind us.

"Prince, the chopper already landed in Chaiovia," Brian whispered.

"How is she?" I asked.

"The princess is still unconscious. Dr. Lim said she might wake up in a day or two. She's too tired and in too much pain from her wounds."

I nodded.

"The queen fainted, prince."

I stood up and called my wife.

"How is mom, hon?"

"She's awake," her voice sounded sad.

"Please, look after her, as well."

"When are you coming home?" she asked.

"Later, hon. We're putting this man behind bars."

"W-we'll wait then."

"I love you."

"I love you more."

I turned around.

"Gregory."

Gregory held that man.

"What are you doing, Gregory? You're supposed to protect me," Adrian said.

He just smirked and glanced at Bryan who is holding his phone.

"That contain evidences that I took. I'm sorry, but I'd rather help the princess than watch you abuse her," he said and stood beside Bryan.

"Traydor!"

"Siguro nga, Adrian. Pero alam ko sa sarili kong wala akong pagsisisihan sa desisyon ko."

Dad punched Adrian hard one last time.

"Makakasuhan kita ng assault!" he shouted at dad.

"You left Crown Princess Denise in the dust to suffer alone. You kidnapped and abused Princess Lea. I am King Lucas of Chaiovia, do you think they will imprison me?" said dad.

He finally kept quiet.

"No? Let's go then," I said and walked ahead.

His family had no choice. They messed with the Grandes, and I'm sure they lost this time.

Cass's POV

"Cass, you have to get some sleep," I heard Yurissa say.

I just shook my head while holding my daughter's hand. She was immediately brought in her room as soon as we landed.

"Babe, it's already dark.  You have been sleepless for almost a week already," Zavie said with concern.

"I can't. This is all my fault. I shouldn't have let this happen."
