Tom
"Lord Voldemort, I didn't expect to see you up so early!"
"Oh? And why is that?"
The king's too loud voice already had me in a foul mood. Now that I have come to the realization that he was planning something, I was going to be on high alert with him from now on.
"I just figured that you'd still be in bed, with Vanlanthirel." The king added the last part with an almost knowing look to me.
But what was it that he knew? The king was already starting to get on my last nerve and the sun was hardly even up. "Well I don't see why I would be when I have business to take care of." I said as smoothly as I could.
The king looked like there was something he wanted to say, but he must have decided to keep it to himself. "Alright, well lets sit and go over things. The faster we do, the faster you can get back to your chambers, where I'm sure my daughter is waiting for you."
We were all already seated, and when king Mathaniel said this I was able to see most of his men look down with smiles on their faces.
Completely fuming now, I tried to say as calmly as I could, "Where she's resting, yes. But I do not know so much about waiting on me. Now, how about we get down to what's really important before I start to get impatient."
I made sure it didn't sound like a question. The king needed to learn that I didn't care who he was. He was still a muggle, and it wouldn't take but just a flick of my wand to kill him dead right here and now.
-------------------------------------------------
I kept am eye on the king that whole day. I made sure to look where he looked, to see if he made any kind of weird eye contact with any of my men. He didn't.
The only thing I found weird at all was he kept trying to cut the conversations short. And his excuse every time was that he was sure everyone would like to go and spend time with their loved ones since it was such a pretty day. It was his last attempt that finally made me snap.
"Okay, I don't believe there is anything else we should talk about now, so lets go back to our chambers and-"
"Look you stupid fool, I can sit here and think of plenty of things that we need to discuss. You trying to get out of it now it starting to get on my last nerve. You're pathetic excuse that its such a pretty day is just stupid, since every day here is a pretty say. Now if I were you, I would do my best not to forget just who I am, and who you are."
He must have heard the threat in my voice, because after that he didn't try to stop the conversation again.
It was when we were leaving that I got the first big surprise. As I was walking out of the doors, I heard one of the king's men say to him, "I do not think this is such a good idea. With someone like him, you're putting her in danger."
"What choice do I have? They are soul mates, they belong to each other."
